WIP Flying Dutchman Project: Cursed & Uncursed

Honestly, ive grown rather attached to this old model over the years its almost going to be sad to see it finally rest.
 
It's already in half rest.
I had temporarily replaced the cursed version with the "Caleuche".
The uncursed version is still the older one.

Of course once @Gowras' model is ready the "Caleuche" model will be replaced.
Or at least that's what I see happening.

@ZarethPL did do a pretty good job at her; and she served well for many many years.
I got SO used to her! :rofl
Where is Zareth anyway? I had a texture almost finished for his model using the photos for reference....was looking pretty damn good then a friend kindley formatted all 3 hard drives just to reinstall Xp for me. That was the end of that and another 10 years worth of stored work. Lol....Bravo.

So many people have come and gone over the years; most just vanishing without a trace...

But some return again.

Its hard not to get impatient from how close this is after this long, it feels like i am at the edge of my seat waiting to see an update.
 
Calmness. Now I am already working on something that will not be visible in the screenshots. Plus I was taking a little break. High quality work is not done quickly.
You are welcome to take all the time you like even if it takes till the end of the year, you have Already done so much amazing work. You are amazing at what you do and are an absolute heaven send for this project.

Actually this apply's to everyone here all of you have done such amazing work here and kept a wonderful community alive for so long where others fizzled out you guys may not be the biggest community or the loudest but you are one of the kindest and welcoming i have ever seen.
you all are just amazing people and that's the truth so keep your head high because you are really amazing for everything you have done and so is everyone else, all of you are just great for everything you have done here.

I am correcting the geometry, correcting some individual moments that can be made better, finishing small details, slowly dividing the model into parts. Locators are still far away =)
For example, initially the sides of the ship were just a texture. This can be seen in this screenshot. without a texture, there's just a wall.

Now I have done everything manually. At the same time, each side and damage are unique. If you look closely, you will see it here.

It looks pathetic when approaching. eye hurts. When I did it through the alpha channel. inside, you still had to trace each hole with modeling. Was it easier for me then? definitely not. But it looked clearly worse when viewed from an angle.
