I may be wrong, but i remember it being mentioned once the Dutchman model by Gowras and who helped with the textures was completed that model would be used to replace the current one

that's what i was referring to by 'it'

There hasn't been progress in forever.
I am not counting on Legendary Spider ever picking up the project again.

I wonder if @Jack Rackham or @Grey Roger might see options to make an update of the textures.
It's a bit unfortunate that now the cursed Flying Dutchman uses a different model altogether from the uncursed one.
