There is a theory of quantum physics known as superstring theory. Actually there are a lot of superstring theories so I'm going to invent one of my own, which has the advantage over all the others that it doesn't involve multiple pages of gratuitous mathematics.

Superstring has a light side and a dark side. It binds us and surrounds us; it holds the universe together. The Jedi were wrong; the Force isn't made of midichlorians, it's made of string. For example, when Darth Vader strangles someone, what he's actually doing is making a lasso out of superstring and throwing it over the other guy's neck.

Okay Morgan I fetched my bucket with lava in it.. *pours lava down onto the earth from a tall tower*
 
Darth Vader: "Luke, I am...the Stringmaster."

Skywalker: "Wait...what? I thought you were my Dad?"

DV: "Well, I'm that, too, but there's these things called strings, and, well..."

S: "They're more important than me?"

DV: "Well, I was going to go with 'technically supersede mere humans in developmental design', but that works too."

The power of lava is insignificant when compared to the power of the superstring.

*Builds Klein bottle out of superstring. Lava is sent in a loop and pours back onto top of tall tower.*
 
So long as the bucket keeps being tipped over the side and then refilled, we have a perpetual motion machine. The problem is when T'Flok gets tired and fails to tip the bucket, causing the tower to be flooded with lava.

I am now working on an automated mechanism for the bucket so that, when it is full, it tips over and dumps the lava into the Klein bottle, then rights itself ready to be refilled. Once that is working, I can start work on a lava turbine. Then I just need to decide what to do with the power generated by the turbine...
