After play'n around with some new single missions started a campaign with the 2nd Foitilla based out of Lorent 1941 with a type IXB. To my pleasant suprise I ran into no less than 6 Large convoys and a task force in BF quadrant.
My first encounter was a task force and a Large convoy going in opposite directions from each other and about 50 KM apart <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Following behind convoy another large convoy appears on Nav. map is headed in my direction.Sunk Large Tanker, 2 x Large Merchant, Pyro Ammunition ship, for a total around 45K tons and twelve torps left for second convoy approaching, The weather was horrendous, large waves, high winds, and heavy rain made havoc for contacts, but used to your advantage, conceals your Uboat from enemy.

Unfortunatly the time it took to battle with first convoy, lost contact with second convoy, not wanting to waste precious fuel, made way for assigned patrol grid where I made contact with 2 more large convoys and lost contact with them, they seem to change direction much more quickly with GWX.
Finaly weather breaks with calm water and sunny skies made contact with a single merchant and orderd Uboat to surface. All crew reply confirmation of orders and info in German voices with English text. With Uboat now on surface, decided is a good time to try out Deck Gun. Fearing the worst, it would take half of my 88MM ammo to sink this ship, I was amazed after only 12 salvos aimed at waterline at 2800 meters, she exploded and split in two. The eye candy in this mod is amazing, from ship models to buildings, ports and subs many new things added.
