ok, I started the game, But I got a runtime error
You installed correctly? Check your error logs.

I have these errors:
COMPILE ERROR - file: ships\ships.c; line: 188
Invalid Expression
Installation error. Make sure you do this:
2. You MUST install Build 14 Beta 2.1 Full first!!!
3. Allow the installer to run RunMe.bat upon completion
- DON'T install the game to Program Files,
otherwise Windows prevents it from installing correctly
Install to, for example, C:\Games\Pirates of the Caribbean
4. Install the Beta 3 WIP files: http://www.piratesahoy.net/threads/build-14-beta-3-progress.20686/
Between each step, run the RunMe.bat. Check that there is NO PROGRAM_new folder after it has run.

yeah, I did all that, maybe I should do a re-install lol
Do that, make sure to test between each completed step.

hey, just wondering. i have a program, and Program_new folder. after installing, do i replace the original with the new?Attachments
Try running that RunMe.bat again. PROGRAM_new shouldn't be there and neither should RunMe.bat .

ran as admin and it worked

oh, and what option's file do i delete for the WIP?
The file called "options" in your main game folder. How else am I supposed to call that?

-.-, found it. was looking in program and for a notepad icon
, is it supposed to lag like hell after deleting. ? 
No. The game just creates a new up-to-date one and continues like normal.
You don't have a "memory.mp" file, do you?

not sure, but when game is open it keeps generating these tga weird files non stop. that's where the lag is coming from, i now have 212 of these files. in the folder. like they non stop generate in the main game folder.
Do you have a button stuck on your keyboard?
Indeed, those are just screenshots. F8 button makes them, as I recall it. -
