well, i've been defining myself a lot this year. my drawing has blossomed, and i've discovered new preferences of music and drawing styles. steampunk being one of them, and manga. the reason why i like using manga elements or simply drawing in that style is because it's so incredibly easy to get it perfect. it always looks right once you know how to draw it, which takes a day or two. the trick is to improve your quality and details, which requires knowledge. clothes would be a very good example. it's tricky trying to give something to illusion of a type of fabric, with folds and crinkles in the right places, as well as a sheen in some cases.

But there are different breeds of Yuk, the one I post is a very rudimentary one. Others, like the one that chased us, can be quite colorful.
