I think it's <i>refShip.ClosestPoint = 0.15;</i>, but I'm not sure.
 
Looks like this thing did the trick what I copied from Fast Barque:

refShip.ClosestPoint = 0.225;
refShip.BestPoint = 0.625;
refShip.RigType = sDet;

i'd say it's the dutchman. looks like the teeth on the bow. masts seem to be missing though.

i just noticed it has at least one mast, anyway. it looks wierd. there are two big bits sticking upward from the forecastle, which i don't think i've seen before, at least not that size. i'd guess it's a galleon or something.

heck, i had a fleut surrender to me in my sloop. sometimes it's just a bit too rediculous.

you try matching my feat of sinking three frigates with a brig in the stock game without boarding. that was NUTS. that was the time where i couldn't board yet.

Yesterday, I attacked a French Lineship, Escalated Battleship, and Man O'War with me Chebec - all three surrendered! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> And I thought battles in the Battlefield games could be long - I played for three hours straight to get those ships!
 
i know the situation. i had exactly the same thing when i had a pirate corvette. but in that case, there was no wind. they helped me capture them my simply running into each other. dumbasses. i could just capture one and run onward onto the deck of the next ship.

don't you just love it when your enemy is trying to escape against the wind and you have a lot of guns? you just have to sit and wait till it drifts right in front of your guns. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />
 
...or do a kamikaze run at 'em! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> That was the biggest battle I've been in yet - besides my ship and the three Frenchies, there was also the British merchant convoy under heavy escort I'd jumped in to help out: all told, 16 ships! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />
