Doing Disk defragmenting to find out files that have been messed up (or erased partially from inside in other words) by hard drive. I'm probably going to need a new hard drive because current one seems to be messed up.. can't install games on my D disk without getting some corrupted files. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ko" border="0" alt="ko.gif" /> Local disk C seems to be allright with installing games. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Well.. guess what, some files just did not get defragmented and that means that those files are not corrupted.. going to check sometimes later today if those files can be copied to the other disk to check if any errors come.

The Event Viewer would probably list something referring to a Bad Block if your HD is dying <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> . At least, that's what it did on the last computer I had, which was totally fried by a brownout <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> .
