The counting game

Morgan, the diffrance is that in Gothic I, Gothic II and Gothic II NotR everything happens in full 3D.. even combat. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

of course. but this is a different game.

ah, i love happy endings. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> the epic climactic battle was TOUGH. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" /> that final boss had something like 30000 hp! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> i nearly got wiped out completely once, but somehow Nicolas only just survived so he could save us all with a mass resurrection spell. and then the enemy used a defensive spell so i had the oppurtunity to use a potion to bring all the health back up the max. Emma died at least 4 times. it was like "she's alive! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> *WHAM* no... wait. no she's not." <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> she lay dead throughout half the fight. i think it would be possible to finish the game with Gavin, as Nicolas only truly helped with that resurrection spell. i hardly used anything else.

it's fun to just go wander around through the realm after you've finished the game to see what the others are up to. Rye looks so much cooler in full battle armor and a cape.

guess what? i met Machinae Supremacy's drummer on youtube! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

i don't believe this. the first Aveyond won't even run on my wreck. that's just plain pathetic.

Did Ean and Lya finally married or something? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> Last time ye told us that the ending you first saw wasn't good enought. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

5122

uh.... twice, actually. my mistake. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> it's possible to get married in Candar if you get 'attraction' up to 5. i couldn't wait to get home and shock the parents. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> this ending was a lot longer too. they just got married again 'for real' in Elfwood. but that's not the main happy ending bit i meant. it's the whole scene. i travelled through the entire world after i had finished the main quest just to see what had happened. lots of interesting differences.

Ah good.. So what do I have to do to get a certain ending? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I don't feel like doing 20 hours again when I find out something is wrong. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

depends completely on what ending you'd like. i know, for instance, that only stealing from the donation box gives you different dialogue and features later on than when you put donations in them. there's so many options in the end that i can only recommend you to save before you enter the Shaenlir castle. i have tried only very few out of all of them.

5125

I've been donating to donation boxes there. So is there any chance the ending will be good? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

5126

well, it doesn't have such a great effect. but you will be able to get the pheonix orb if you get ten points, which will help immensely in the end. the ending mainly depends on your won choices which you get through dialogue.

5127

Won choices? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

5128

own choices. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> anyway, i'd pick the option to go with Iya in the end cos you'll just feel really bad about yourself otherwise. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

5131

Okay then. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

i've found a book of classical horror stories. how i love these tales! of these tales i just finished 'The Horla' by Guy de Maupassant. brilliant! i can truly recommend this one. it's not your average ghost story or anything, but is about a man that is going mad, or maybe isn't, depending on how you look at it. the thing is that the tale is written in the man's perspective and in such a brilliant way that you feel like these are the actual thoughts of that man. truly amazing. it has sparked a thought of mine, which comes partially from the fact that my mind is exceptionally sharp as of late. the following words are written in the utmost seriousness, though by no means have to be of any concern.

sometimes i ask myself if i have gone mad or are going mad. if this is true then you are the witnesses of the thoughts of someone who is going mad for real, and i find this rather interesting myself. Julia has indirectly sparked more things than she knows. she once told me what the essence is of what she draws, making me ask myself: 'what do i draw?'. what i draw is dreams. fantasies, desires, false hopes of things that we want to be but never will. Morgan is, in effect, my soul. something Marloes once said fits this perfectly: 'every artist puts a bit of himself in his drawings.', and this is true. however, Morgan is braver than i am. and i can't help but think that if i manage to directly link Morgan to myself, or actually my mind, that i will overcome fears and problems. see it as having faith in something you truly believe in, using it to support you, though this is slightly different. in the past weeks i have been rebuilding my mind from the ground up. every negative past experience that has formed me will be eliminated one by one, and i will do it on my own. and i can tell without doubt that this already has worked to some extent, and is increasing it's momentum. i wonder what the future results will be.
