your mind works different than mine cylon. mine's romantically oriented, and i'm fairly shy on top of it. besides, i DID call her. many don't. i'm dropping some pretty gargantuous hints, in any case. i've just come up with another good idea. three in a row (okay, the first one was a little dodgy, i'll admit. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> turns out it can cut through wood too. grinds off paint really well too if i replace the blade with something more hefty). anyway, the third good idea is that i discovered that it's queen's day tomorrow; i wonder if Julia has anything planned.

today was fun. we visited the Den Helder maritime museum, walhalla for us sea-lovers of course. i went inside a WW II submarine lying in a drydock, and a big one too. there where two periscopes which we where allowed to look through and as a result me and my dad ended up oogling each other through the periscopes. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> it was kinda funny to see that thing turn towards me. it was also kinda odd to look through a periscope and see a car drive past. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

today i also made a wieldable buckler out of mecchano. took it apart again, but it seems like i'm in one of my inventor-moods. this could ge good.

i made an interesting discovery yesterday. Ava's tale (meaning Ava from Aveyond 2) is almost completely based upon the song 'Village on the Sand' by Blackmore's Night. either they know the song or it's an amazing coincidence. even the title fits.

that could, or more likely would, be a really bad idea. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> that's something i can't do out of nowhere, not at this point. the right moment has to be picked for that, and that's what i'd prefer myself. hug: okay. big step in the right direction, and not a big problem. kiss: needs a good timing. i can imagine that this is hard for you to understand, but i'll try to explain. people in our frame of mind (Julia and I) have this image of a right moment like you sometimes see in movies or books. just giving a kiss because of the kiss itself won't do. it's the meaning behind it. what i need to do is make her to want it to happen at a certain time. that's the ideal situation.

meanwhile, i'm holding my phone in my hand. again. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> now or never i suppose. 20 minutes and it will be too late. it's the knowledge that so much depends on it is what makes me nervous. but it's the knowledge of what i might miss what makes me do it anyway. and i believe i will. gnn...... blech. that didn't go very well. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> firstly, i got her sister on the line, who's tone kinda unnerved me. that she yelled who was on the phone didn't exactly help either. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> and then it was kinda crash n burn. it went well at first, but firstly, she already had plans for tomorrow, secondly, there was no real reason i could think of for me to call her which kinda torpedoed me from the start, and thirdly, she remarked she had visited Ravian today, which she once had a relationship with. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> total disaster. once my ego recovers i'll start on that drawing. i guess.

i like him too much for that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> besides, i know he's only friends with her. he told me himself that he's not interested in her in any serious way. besides, he's got someone else, which he also told me himself. i do know that she still loves him though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> this could be an issue. not even mentioning the factor Greg plays in all this, who just might cause the 'duel of swords' situation. this is getting too complicated! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> well. the persistent one wins. and i think i'm pretty much right when i say that i'm by far the most stubborn one in the group. but for the moment i just feel crap. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> this is going to take a while to recover from.
