I finally did get a virus-free copy. I can see why you said to go for individual tracks - most of the others I tried were slightly bizarre (just like half the groups I listen to) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> .

I just discovered the one album I'd gotten is apparently a fake - that explains why it's so different than the separate tracks I'd gotten. The individual tracks are all quite good - now I won't be playing the same few albums over and over again <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> ! Thanks for the recommendations!

If you were to ever try wolfmother, I'd suggest avoiding "apple tree" - it's about some idiot that falls out of a tree, starts seein' stuff, then starts raving at the tree's owner <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> . That's just beyond weird!

i might take a look at it, yes, and thanks for the warning. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> some of the soundtracks are sung by their male singer, by the way. 'still i'm sad' is one of them. he's also the guy that keeps playing along with his electric guitar all the time, wether it fits or not. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

okaaaaaay, interesting and mostly annoying developements over here:

the lessons i'll be having in the last part of this school year are turning out to be a total hell. noone has less than two days of being at school from 8:30 till 16:00, WITHOUT a free hour in between. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" /> 3 days of that is normal. i used to have none of such days. due to some freak of chance i have the first four periods free on monday and tuesday, which nobody else has. i've got no free hours at all in the rest of the week, which is total crap. also, nearly all my hours are miraculously planned at exactly such times that prevents me from seeing my friends, which is a major setback, especially because of something else. me and a girl i know finally seem to be developing a for now uncertain relationship, and this would be just about the worst time of not being able to see each other, except in the short lunchbreaks. i will have to resort to more rigorous methods, like phoning her a lot and visiting her house. gulp. annoyingly, it's raining heavily outside. why is this relevant? because i have to hang out the window to use the phone.

Sounds like fun times at your school, too. They lengthen the days here, then cut back on our breaks or completely eliminate them. Haven't figured out what that's about yet, but I sure as hell don't like it. They've also started monitoring what we use the computers for, and now censor quite a few websites under the guise of preventing us from lookin' at nakkid people.

To top all this off, the building's undergoing what some engineer they brought in referred to as "continuous structural failure" and large parts of it can't even be used anymore. Me, well I've taken to using the airplane crash position when sitting in class - never hurts to be prepared!

cylon, i'm 17. that's kinda late in comparison to others i know.

the reason for me having to hang out the window is because we have some wierd high-guality glass which blocks all phone and radio signals. pretty annoying, though it's interesting to hang out the window wondering if you'll drop the phone or not, or fall out yourself. i'm on the first floor. or second, in english terms.

well, i used to have not a single day where i had to stay at school till 16:00. 15:10 was normal, and 14:20 also quite common. it really is genuine crap right now. good side is, i'm not the only one. the school over here is also undergoing a makeover. they just cover up the cracks with new plaster to generate the illusion of a well-maintained building. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> (on a random note, it's snowing again)

the main reason why me and my girl really need some time together is because i want to draw her. she's also into drawing, and i'm taking lessons from her on some subjects. the advantage of drawing each other is that you have the perfect excuse to look intently at each other for hours. i'm afraid, however, that my skills aren't good enough to put her on paper properly. i've tried it before. good, but way off-scale. it's bugging me.

oh, snap, just realised i still can't phone because of the snow. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> meh.... good enough excuse as anything. i'm not fooling myself. i've done this before. some luck that i have her number.
