Screenshots thread

... to match the townhall (shipyard4), where you can meet this lady.
Hee-hee, I recognise her. xD
Lucia_screenshot.jpg

That's the texture from one of AoP's female models adapted onto PoTC's "liz" model and given a new face. Later I made a better model for my heroine and, not wanting to discard the work, changed the model to the more generic "liz3" and added lines to "initModels.c" to make it more widely available, which is why you'll sometimes see random walkers looking like that.

But I wonder when we will be introduced to Anne Russel Stapelton? ;)

Yes, I used the model first because I think the texture is great! :onya
Also there's a painting of this real characters brother and he's got dark hair so I
thought this model appropriate.

Weekly spolier then.
From the hall of the Estate you can see the neighbour house on the hill.
1 hall.jpg

Another neighbour of Governor Charles Eden was Edward Teach.
2 Teach house 1.jpg

There should be a secret passage, possibly a tunnel up to the Governor.
It was a just a creek.
3 Teach house 2.jpg

But following it (at low tide) you can enter the Estate's wine cellar. (with a puzzle)
4 wine_cellar.jpg

And finally reach Eden's office. Here with some notorious visitors.
The office and two bedrooms for the Estate were also imported.

What are they up to?

This weeks WoodesRogers2 spoiler:

The cloister in Cartagena was made by @Bartolomeu o Portugues , I just added some stuff there.
The reason was because it's a very nice location and I wanted to use it as a transfer to
another monastary.
1 entre.jpg

The idea is a small poor jungle monastary.
The new buildings are added just outside the end of the walk_path.
2 jungle_monastary.jpg

New white nuns here,
imported monk models in the starting cloister.
3 chapel.jpg

Also a graveyard from POTEHO with a bell tower you can climb and crypt buildings.
4 graveyard with crypts.jpg

There are also some very interesting crypt interior locations.
But something must happen here too so watch out when trying to open
the coffins.
5 undead.jpg

At the end of this episode there's a fight in the original cloister yard.
You'll fight alongside the white nuns and the brown monks against
bandits and evil red priests/monks.

Really nice once more, I can't wait until I have more time and I will be able to play Woodes Rogers part one and two. :onya

I also plan for the Ardent storyline, but in the end I want to play all of them. xD

Keep up the good work! :cheers

Here are some pictures to choose from. They show more of our combined work with the cloister than
the quest locations for WR2. (which are mostly imported)

I think these screenshots and comments about this new location could be an interesting post for the PA! Facebook :)
Are you talking about these ones?

If so, I can post them on PA! Facebook page, along with these ones:

Hornblower gets a new face:
hornblower_bush.jpg

(Screenshot achieved by swapping name and face with Lt. William Bush.)

The interface pictures for Midshipman Hornblower and Lieutenant Hornblower use photos of Ioan Gruffudd, while the one for Commander Hornblower uses a photo of Gregory Peck. Regardless, I'll have consistent faces on all three character models, based on a different photo of Gregory Peck with better lighting.

Hint for anyone else wanting to use a photo as a starting point for a character texture: find a photo in which the subject is looking straight at the camera and the face is evenly lit. If you can't find a photo of the film character with suitable facing and lighting, look for any other photos of the actor who played the character.

More spoiler pictures from WoodesRogers2.
To give the storyline a real Blackbeard feeling I have added a few scenes
from Teach's "career". They take the story forward too, not just for the athmosphere.

Rum party with Teach, Bonnet, Hands and others. This doesn't end well for Hands
as he's getting shot in the knee by Teach. And then something interesting happens...
1 QAR rum party.jpg

Teach blockaded Charleston with four ships.
The sloops Revenge (Stede Bonnet) and Adventure (Israel Hands) seen from Queen Anne's Revenge.
2 Charleston 1.jpg

The only thing the pirates demanded was a medicine chest!
3 Charleston 2.jpg

His officer Richards returning with it. Ship - sloop - boat

4 Charleston 3.jpg

At Ocracoke just before Teach's last battle.
Caesar gets a mission...

Lieutenant Maynard's two sloops ready to attack.
