let's go RPG!

back in the sky, morgan got blasted by a massive wave of heat and debris. the shield absorbed most of the hit, but the back of the plane is badly scorched and all systems are badly overheating. the cooling system goes for all it's worth. nanobots try to repair the rear once the heating goes down, but a lot of them get sucked into the cooling fins of the engine which is running at full throttle. out of control, the plane swerves wildly towards cylon's tank. i switched on the magneto's to take the main part of the impact, shields are back online, and i manage to swing the left wings back up. then a damaged component in the prototype chroniton rifle jams up and a suddenly created time portal swallows cylon and the tank! (in fact, it says on the label that that might happen. i'm not kidding) a big crater is formed as my ship crashes into the ground, fairly undamaged, the shield and magnetos ripping apart the ground. slightly bedraggled (yay, remembered a word!) the ship wobbles back out the hole.

the <i>nanobots</i> are part of my ships' defence system. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> they only work at low temperatures though.
