Pre Build 13 Modpack

It's just a head model for skeleton4. It's basically chameleon's head with a skeleton texture. So for BMunk, it would feel out of place. But if you find a character head with the same sort-of look as BMunk's head, then apply the BMunk skin to it, it might work. But I'm afraid if I tried, it wouldn't work, because it's almost certain the models are mapped differently, so I couldn't just assign a different texture. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
 
I made a new update available. It's available from <a href="http://millenniumdock.bravepages.com/storage/others/update_24-8-05.zip" target="_blank">here</a> (4.06 MB). Sorry for the size. I wanted it to work on older versions too.
I couldn't add it to my site, because there seemed to be a problem. Apparently, I could only remove files, but not upload anything because the storage had been exceeded. Beats me why. I removed lots of big files and I still couldn't upload. Pieter's Pirates Page is not working at all at the moment.

Stuff changed in this update:
- Smugglers models properly fixed by Nathan (I tried to test, but I kept being lucky. Which isn't useful when testing the unlucky case)
I don't know if this also fixes the English ship bug. Otherwise that will still need fixing. I thought Captain Hawk had already found a fix for it, so I'd just need to add that in.
- The location bug with Inez's location loading code seems to be fixed now. Was my own fault. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
- Enemies shouldn't be using Grenades, Etherbottles, etc. anymore.
- Water line for schooner-vessels set to 0.0. That better? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
- Maximus fixed the name-change mod, so that if you change you name when you have a rank with a country, your name will be set to the typed name instead of "". Seems to work quite fine now! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />
- Interface improved again by Maximus. Several bugs fixed too. There are now confirmation boxes when exiting the loot-the-dead and captured ship interfaces. Only the loot-the-dead one only works on boardings yet. And I reckon there should be a BS.h toggle put on it. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I have 2 questions though?

1) are the new islands in or out, can't find any new ones on the map?

They're not in the modpack. But they are available as additional download. They were anyway, until Pieter's Pirates Page started acting odd yesterday. They are compatible with the modpack, but not entirely. I will try to make an update file to make them compatible with the latest modpack as well.
They're not at all working properly yet (mod's highly unfinished). The modpack is currently on hold, so no mods will be added that might cause bugs. Only bugfixes will be added. And possibly some mods that won't cause bugs (such as new character models).

Don't have the slightest idea what's wrong with the armor. So that bug still isn't fixed. In that case, I'll be trying to put in Captain Hawk's fix later and see if that does something to fix it. My Coastguard ship fix was for PIRATE ship.Reason is:
There is this Akella bug ,when you avoid coastguard ship, go to map mode
and sail to town in same island.As you goto 3d mode coastguard ship is
there waiting for you.Fort do not fire on you but coastguard ship will.
If coastguard ship is PIRATE, then Fort will fire at it.
To get original coastguard ships back? Same fix that works for governor
"indeed" bug, seems to work to goastguard ship also.
Now to fix: Goto \PROGRAM\Dialog_func.c file.
Line 827 fix to :

int CGNation = GetCurrentLocationNation(); //sti(CurIsland.smuggling_nation); fix CapHawk

I have tested it in Dowesen and Consecao.

Pieter on armor looted off dead soliders you can't get rid of it. Sell or put it in your weapons locker. Cheap armor looted from chests or boutght from traders can can be sold howevers.

Also I have been meaning to mention that in current versions we can't sell throwing knives, borigia blades, saps, etc. In earliet version we could, and sense we keep getting them from chests, maybe we should look at that.

Another small question.

I've noticed that the Dowessen store is always short of goods. Most of the other stires stock is in the thousands but Dowessen is lucky to have 500 or so of things like tobacco. and they are supposed to export this. It is driving up the prices when you buy considerably.

Is there a quick fix in a config file for this?

Finally someone have found the - governor "indeed" bug - Thanks a lot!!!

I just wish suggest a litle change in the CharacterUtilite.c:
Instead of comment the line: lines 2664, 2665, I have replace with the following;

When I start a pirate mission the ship to sunk isn't pirate but french (mission take from redmond Governator) and then I boarding the ship this is empty (no enemy to fight).

Btw2 While testing goastguard ship fix ,boarding them i had trouble
with "open dialog console bug". So I made a candidate fix for it .
It worked with coastguard ship, and also with Dowesen girl
in pirateship quest (you get sword ) .
Im now playing the main quest to test it more.

To PIETER: Can you do setting in BSh for Pirate coastguards,
or normal coastguard ships.

Stuff fixed:
- More interface fixes/improvements by Maximus.
- Ration interface shows text again.
- Confirmation boxes on closing loot-the-dead interfaces.
- CCC's no special weapons fix added (but doesn't seem to work entirely yet, because I saw someone with a Borgiablade)
- Smuggling/Coastguard bugs should be fixed now. Not sure if it does work, though. Please test.
- French officer portrait fixed. Was a stupid mistake of mine. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
- Talk-interface showing up during boarding. Should be fixed now. Please test as well.

- Nation of coastguard ship that shows up when smuggling. Should be island nation.
- Governor "Indeed" bug needs checking.
- Talk-interface on boardings needs checking.

I have done testing only in one ship. It worked on all decks
No "open dialog bug" and looting worked. But it needs more testing.
So please test it. I like to do smuggling and boardings are not really

One can not change back to normal salary. I have fix here if you like to

I don't sure if it is a bug, but with the last Modpack versions (after 24/08/05) the surrended ship can not be boarded.

well, beside the battleship was a shyvanna (or something), surrendered, and had no problem to board it too <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" /> (last Pieter 2 files installed)

Respecting dividing plunder.
It states as that 2 days have passed, and i've been unable to go back to salary afterwards.

Thanks for testing. "dividing plunder" fix: two days?? How this happened.
Maybe little more testing to see if it will happen again and how??

Edit: If two days = goto "salary" mode a day after divide the plunder in the Loanshark's office, then it is not a bug. After divide the plunder in the Loanshark's office, you have to go to "salary" mode
right there in Loanshark's office, in day one.

Battleships? We smugglers do not board battleships. We stay long

Same thing has happenet to me both before, and after 24/08/05)MOD.
My latest was in Dowesen smuggling run. I Ran from coastgurd soldiers
to my ship.I have now Pirate coastguard ships. That is "pirates had heard of my smuggling". I sailed to Dowesen fort in 3d mode. Stopped close to fort ad waited for pirates. Pirate ship followed me to fort gun range. Fort fired two times and pirate ship (Pirate coastguard ship)
surrended, boardin not worked. I went to town, and then back to my ship. Was worried if Pirate coastguard ship was there again.It was not.
So at least that worked.Bye
