Pre Build 13 Modpack

I know where it is, I just don't know why it is trying to load when I dvide the plunder.

4. Base weapons for boarders, yes (when use locker is on but there are no weapons in it, the base weapon defined in BS.h--currently, blade5 the dagger--is used). For others? There must be a problem with blade assignment.
5. Sorry, that's one of my not-so-documented features. Basically, when you divide the plunder it takes 2 months or so to careen and refit your ships. Rather than just have a black screen while that processing is done, I pull up that secret hideout loading screen, to pretend that you spend the two months at a secret hideout. But yes, it's very confusing.

And then we can plop the "Two months later, you are ready to return to sea" text on it...

6. Prices is screwy, yes. We need, I think, a big thread on money balancing.

Re: French hostile. That's supposed to be, I believe, since you're known as the fellow who sank/got destroyed the ammo ship.

I should make sure that the prison ship can't surrender, that's an easy fix.

1. You did get that the game is freezing on divide the plunder yes?

I will send a zipped save. Is your old email still working? or do you want it here?

2. Are you clear that my boarders are dfaulting to cutlass, it is the enemy that have all the daggers. Before the weapons mod it seemed more random and there few or no daggers on ships.

3. For some reason I have lost the small log font. I checked in build settings and it is set 1, so I am baffled.

Nathan, sorry I forgot about the French remaining hostile after Oxbay is recaptured by the British. In previous versions of the build I think they were re-set to neutral at that point. Am I wrong?

2. Ah, that _is_ odd. No, I wasn't clear. I'll check how the blade assignment code is working for you...
3. Double-odd. Did you maybe install a different fonts.ini? Did you install anything on top of PB's POTCMods.zip pack?
4. I can't remember the way it was previously supposed to work--or is, for that matter. So bet you're right.
If it's an issue I can change that.

In my modpack, the default blade for boarders is the cutlass, not the dagger. Daggers are too crazy to be used on ships, I reckon a cutlass makes a fine default blade.
I also encountered very high amounts of daggers on the enemies. Sometimes I even found two daggers on the enemy, instead of a dagger and a gun. But I already told you that.
 
Anyone knows how to get <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net/index.php?showtopic=5416&view=findpost&p=115146" target="_blank">this</a> into the modpack?

Hmm, there's the problem of the guards on the _other_ side of the gate, though.

Well, for now we could do something like vcskip, and force the guards to be in position when a flag is set.

I'm not sure if it is really worth the effort for a feature that dosn't have a real gameplay value for the time being. I'd suggest that you just disable the "guardian to patrol" conversion till i find the time to make a proper sneak mod with a proper solution for the gateguards. The suggestions raised here about a mix of potrols and stationary guards make a lot of sense, and it might even be a beautiful challenge to get rid of those gateguards by means of a special weapon. Sandbagging the guards might work, and I had anyway planned a "monkeybomb" that creates a distraction.

Wallscaling would be a beautiful feature(but labourintensive I fear). Maybe one could hide the scaling locator so that the challenge would be to find the spot "where some cracks in the wall give you a foothold". It should drop you to some hidden corner or backalley, maybe with the risk of breaking a leg or getting poisoned by landing in a dungheap (AARGHH, those pesky Couchcaptain ideas again <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> That's why i never have enough time... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> )

And in fact if we do it that way, no real need to implement climbing, just make the locator a reload one and pair it, and let you use it normally.

The update has been updated again. New stuff includes the new fistfighting sounds (thanks High Sea Lass!), some more-or-less fixed female models (hopefully these, as well as the yet unfixed ones, will be fixed soon). Also new are some small changes and mods by Couchcaptain Charles (like dead bodies not disappearing into nothingness and more interesting guard dialog) and the tailor's shop bug seems to finally be fixed.

Not included yet are: Petros' loading screen that is shown above here in this post (because I don't know how to get it in) and the new features in the new interface by Maximus. Any help with getting these things in as well would be greatly appreciated. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Please note: The full modpack wasn't updated yet, so if you want the most up-to-date modpack, you must install the update on top of the full one. The not-so-good-working stuff that was in a previous update was removed again, so this modpack should be a defenite improvement over the previous version.
