Pre Build 13 Modpack

I don't seem to have received a new update from Nathan today, so I can't add that to the modpack. However, I do have several new things that I could add, so I will upload a new version as soon as I can (<span style='color:red'>Done</span>). New stuff include:
- When looting a merchant, four cops will come after you (CCC)
- Alan Smithee's models now <i>properly</i> assigned to their categories. I noticed today that I added the assignments <i>after</i> the "n++;", which I don't think would've worked. Anyone encountering one of Alan Smithee's models walking around, please say so; that would mean that it actually does work.
- Beatrice made more feminine by High Sea Lass
- 33_Affrica by High Sea Lass now added
- Nathaniel Hawk galore bug fixed (Thanks for telling how to, Nathan!)
- Armored Pirat11 is now actually Pirat11, instead of some other sort-of similar pirate from the A&M Mod; Thanks a lot Petros! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />
- Model/Locator improvements to Fanielle and Ladyinred by High Sea Lass
(Beatrice and Ladyinred have still got some bugs with their heads, but that will probably be fixed soon as well <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> )
 
Yup, Pieter, I was just now trying to go see a tailor to test the new heads (heheh), but... he can not talk to me... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ib012.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cry" border="0" alt="ib012.gif" />

Have I missed someting? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> I installed the latest PotCMods.zip and then the update, and I get this error in the error.log:

To High Sea Lass: Will check it out. I thought Nathan said he fixed a tailor's bug a few days ago. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
To High Sea Lass: I just tried talking to the Oxbay tailor using the most recent modpack that I released just a few minutes ago and he seemed to work fine. If you still have trouble with him after updating to the newest modpack, something weird is going on... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
BTW: If you open up globals.c, set DEBUG to 1, then start a new game, you will have all available skins in initModels.c to choose from when pressing F2 --> Character --> Select Outfit.

I found a few small bugs:
- Gregor Samsa doesn't have any items when in debug mode, while he does have items when debug is off
- The Oxbay tailor also sells several PORTUGESE soldier skins. What the HECK??? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />
<span style='color:red'>Edit:</span> Talking about tailor shops bugs/annoyances; I've got some more:
- When you talk to a tailor, he'll shot you 5 or 6 random model options. The prices listed for each of them are wrong. When you decide to buy them, the prices <i>are</i> the correct ones defined in initItems.c. I hope it can be made so that the prices are always shown correct.
- If you talk to the tailor again, he'll have 5/6 new random model options, even though he said he just has the old stock. Is he lying or something? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
- If you're looking for a particular outfit, you'll have a hard time finding it, because you'll need to talk to the tailor again and again before you have the luck that the right one shows up. Could it be made so that either overly cheap models aren't shown or that the tailor shows all models he can sell? Would be nice if something can be done anyway...
- Tailor's sell soldier skins even if you're not in the nation's service. Shouldn't soldier/officer skins only be available if you are in the nation's service and have a high enough rank?

Playing the the latesst 7/22 update I notice we are not able to change the ship name from the ship staus screen. When you click on it the ship's bell clangs and you don't get the keyboard.
 
About changing player's ship and name: This should still be possible, but it has been rewritten. Instead of clicking every character in the on-screen keyboard, you can now use your normal keyboard and just type the new name. Click on the name (you will hear a questbook sound), use backspace to remove characters, then just type in the proper name and press enter to confirm.

<span style='color:red'>Edit 2:</span> I found the bug. For some reason, the A&M Mod's islands made it into the pictures.ini file, causing these troubles. I already managed to fix it here, so the fix will be implemented in the next modpack update. There is a new islands mod by Screwface, which works quite fine actually. Only it isn't finished yet; a lot of the land locations are missing, as well as a lot of nescessary characters. But you can be sure that they will be added once. It is is the works. I'm thinking if maybe I should add the new islands to the modpack; if it's in there, maybe people will go and give a hand in adding the missing pars of the mod and it will get finished sooner...? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
If you want to see the new islands, search on the PA! FTP for a file with a long name with "Screwface" in it. I'm not sure if it will work though. I recall it being made to be installed on a much older version of my modpack that is not available anymore.
If there's enough interest, I'll go and add it to the modpack.

Take a look at Claire Larousse. Her seated graphic is really screwed up! She looks like a pile of broken stained glass, or sometims just a hanging sword. Talking to her works fine her head comes up and everything.

Also I noticed that after a couple of actions my ship was carrying more weight than hold capacity. After sinking a lugger I picked up"-315 cwt of rum" which took the cargo back to the limit.

I thought that bug was fixed recently. Are you running the most recent modpack? If not, please update. If you are, please start a new game and go to the Isla Muelle tavern and see if she looks OK. I remember the bug you describe, but I thought it was fixed; I HAVE seen her sitting properly there a few days ago. I think Nathaniel's Rep may be borken. Despite doing all kinds of good things like rescuing sailors at sea and warning about purses, etc. I am still Neutral.

I just encounter an old bug with the latest update: When I ask a pirate mission from a Governator the game crashes.

I also notice some game crash during boarding battle, but these crash aren't systematic.

Nathan, If you want I can send to you a save game before the crash, but I have the doubt that you can't receive it, I have sent to you 3 save game in the past, did you have receipt those?

Out of curiosity, what happened to the Time Scalars that used to be able to be set in BuildSettings.h ? Where did they go, I want to change something!
