first I will change the tutoreal deck, (I hope) with help from Pieter.. after that ive got soem more experience..

How is the beta coming along, when will it be released to the testers? I can't wait.
Also i won't be able to doing anything on Saturday because i won't have any electricity.
 
The beta is nearly finished. If Seb' is almost finished with another fleet, then I'll wait, but if its going to be a while, I'll release it a.s.a.p.

Saturday will be an interesting day for all of us. For some there will be no electricity... for others it will be the trip to the movies that we've all been waiting for, eh?
 
I'll be absent for a week, I think i just have a frigate and a Hawk's SOL64 skin to do, and the french are finished, for a beta, i think the West Indian Company can wait <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Seb, would you like a mod team, signature?
If you would, then just tell me what picture you would like and want you do for the mod eg. sail maker, modeller or quest maker.

Edit:Commodore, what picture and what words would you like on the loading screens, and new game screen, i would like to make them again.

Edit2: Also anyone that uses paintshop should have a look at <a href="http://www.absolutecross.com/tutorials/photoshop/" target="_blank">this site</a> it tells you how to make burned edges on paper, how to make text look burned into the paper (could be useful for putting a burned in P on someones arm to show that they have had a run in with the east india company) and lots of other things.

Edit3: I just got an idea, for later in the mod, we could replace the nation sails, or make a script, so the plain sails for each country goes with the types of sails they had in the period.
I got the idea when i saw a picture of the Santissima Trinidad, i realised that the Spanish sails are different from the plain sails that i made that are based on British sails.
 
Well what do you want for the loading screen, and wha do you think about my idea?
 
I haven't been in this topic recently, as it doesn't tell you that an edit was made.

The general idea of this mod is to live through the Napoleonic wars, fighting in the navy. Loading screens would be a collection of Napoleonic Maritime art. The whole idea "Fight for honor and glory. Who will you choose? King and Country, The Glorious Cause, or World Domination?"

It gets stretched a bit when i convert it to tga.tx, but you don't really notice it in game.
 
I am glad you like it, is there any thing else i need to do until the beta has been tested? Other than the new game loading screen, and any signatures that people want.
What do i have to have installed before i can install the beta?
 
Which Post Build 12 version? I would recommend working from the Pre Build 13 pack. That file will remain the same until the final Build 13 is done.
 
Ok, and are you still waiting for those last 2 ships from Seb?
