mooo has gotten me thinking again, when I have tried to sail to an island in sea mode as opposed to map mode, I have usually started off from one island and tried to sail to another island, usually Oxbay to Redmond and using the compass to get pointed into the right direction.

What I'm wondering is if you just sail out to sea in map mode, to any location where you don't get the "Land ho!" symbol, and then sail in sea mode towards an island.

I'll have to try this because you can certainly sail away from an island until it disapears, but can you sail towards one until it comes into sight?

Got another one for ya, mateys - swimming lessons with the French Guard on Oxbay:

I was doing a run around the beach with the French Guard in hot pursuit, when I thought, gee, I wonder if they'd follow me into the dungeon! So I swam out into the water and around the bend to the dungeon entrance, and they all followed me out into the water. When I entered the dungeon, NO, nobody followed me except Rabel Yverneau. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blah:" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

SO I exited the dungeon and swam back out to get the guards to follow me again - let me tell ya, if they surround you, you'll have to swim on 10X speed to get out of the water in a timely fashion - those guys like to tread water and it's tough to get through them! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The mutant outfit actually looks rather interesting, if you avoid looking at his face... That's my Catalina de Erauso attempt - I accidentally named it Spanish soldier whatever number he is (prob. #4) - will have to put that back asap, as you can imagine it gave me quite a fright when I first saw him. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock:" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" />

mmm the worst is still the ability to have mistress in all the town (the funniest thing is that you can have all the daughters/nieces as mistresses which is a bit too much maybe ..) heck, those governor s have big family, at some place the room is full of women walking around...

But i fail to see the point of having her telling news since they always speak but dont tell anything important...
