In Build 14 Beta 1 patch 5
I have tested all the Towns - Settlements using the Capture Colonies option.
This is the current situation:-
Ones that work ok
( Sink ships arround island or destroy Fort - then player +4 crew fights 3 defenders in various locations -->all the way through to dialog with governor - pirate chief & get ransom or take over colony - then get ships repaired Automatically and sail away successfully.)
Only 2 minor Problems with them
Fort Interior Loading screens
- None of the fort interiors have loading screens - just Blank screen with spinning gold coin - I assume this is because Capture Colonies Mod uses its own versions of the interiors ( the normal versions all have Loading screens )
Money received for ransom of colony
- The amount you receive is twice the amount in the dialog
- If you decide to take over the colony for yourself or another country - the colony is taken over & you also get the amount of money for the ransom ( actual amount stated in dialog ) - not sure if this is correct or a bug.

Bonaire - Pirate Fort - Palm Beach
Hispaniola - Tortuga
Hispaniola - Santo Domingo
Turks - Grand Turk
Cayman - Grand Cayman
Guadeloupe - Pointe a Pitre
Eleuthera - Governors Harbour
Eleuthera - Alice Town
Towns -Settlements I managed to fix & make work
Hispaniola - Port au Prince
Fixed by -> In RESOURCE \ Models \ Locations \ Town_PoPrince \ Town
Made a copy of the file Contown_lb.gm & renamed copy to Contown_l_papb.gm
And put it in the folder - everything worked.
Towns settlements that have bugs but can be Captured Sucessfully ( mainly no crew in some locations )
Cuba - Havana
- No crew in Port - player fighting soldiers on their own.
Crew in all other locations. ( strange texture as Port Royale )
St Martin - Philipsburg
- No crew in Port - player fighting soldiers on their own.
- No crew in 1st Part of Town ( where Governors Office is ) - player fighting soldiers on their own.
Towns - Settlements still broken - unable to complete capture
Grenada - Sao Jorge
- Port Locators wrong - Crew Soldiers outside Battlefield
Bonaire - Kralendijk
- Port Locators wrong - Crew Soldiers outside Battlefield
Cuba - Santiago
- Port Locators wrong - Crew Soldiers outside Battlefield
Barbados - Speightstown
- Port Locators wrong - Crew Soldiers outside Battlefield
Barbados - Bridgetown
- After 2nd town fight in Suburb - think you are supposed to be transported to Governor / Fort / Prison Commander - but are just stuck in the same part of town ( get same location loading screen & are just moved to one of the gates - your officers now appear & the missing texture on the ground is there now there so I assume you have been transported to the normal model for this location instead of the Capture Colonies Model ) - you can fast travel to store/church/tavern etc but cannot leave buildings once inside them except by fast travel to another building.
- In 2nd town location no crew - player fighting soldiers on their own.

Hispaniola - Buccaneers Camp - Boca de Hubon Beach
- Unable to get landing Party icon. ( destroyed all ships around island but nothing happens )
St Martin - Marigot
- Unable to destroy Fort - no hits shown or registered?
Antigua - St Johns
- Fort ok - then Naval Base Loading screen then Black Screen nothing happens unable to proceed.

- Sank all the ships around Island - selected Land Troops - Black Screen unable to proceed

Aruba - Oranjestad
- Sank all ships - Fight in Port - Transported to Town can't move ( used A-D keys to move sideways slightly which fixed this ) - in town no one to talk to the Governor is in townhall (locked) can get inside only with Fast travel. Talk to Governor & he only has ordinary dialog - no Capture Colonies Dialog.
