jack sparrow quest problem

okay i will try that. but i still does not get past that stormy bug i got from another save. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate-ayant-soif.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rumgone" border="0" alt="pirate-ayant-soif.gif" /> so its not that big of a deal right now

Hi,
I have problem with landing on Isla De muerte on the Interceptor ship in Jack Sparrow storyline.after leaving tortuga,I arrive at whichever shore, and I don't have option in fast menu to land on it. no matter what i try a cant land, Is there any solution to fix this?

also i have alpha 9.5

I have just installed build 14 9.5

I'm playang the jack sparrow quest and have some strange thing happening.

After talking to sparrow father, i head to the tavern and talk with a guy wich is also sailing to barbados.
After i accept to sail with him, his ship appears in the ship screan just like it was mine.
I was able to sell all of his stuff at the store. I haven't tried to sell the ship, or to switch it with mine, but it may also work.

After that, i head to Barbados. Once there, the guy who sailed with me says he need to visit the tailor.
My quest book is updated, and suggest me to visit the store and the tavern, but i didn't find anything special there.
In the store i only get the usual merchant quests and in the tavern, i get th escort one.
There is also someone in the tavern talking about a treasure, but when i agree to help him and meet whit him on the docks, he says he lured me, draw his sword and kill me (I can't hurt him).
No one at the tailor shop either.
Am i missing something or is my install broken?
Also in the tavern i took a regular escort quest. The merchant asked me to escort him to oxbay.
A fast travel to the docks and the quest was completed.

Hi, It looks as if you have fallen into the 1st trap in the game. The name of guy who lured you to the dock and killed you is "Maykin Blundas". <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> When Thomas the Terror leaves you at the port in Barbados you should go and talk to Lt Bligh standing on the right of the jetty. Talking to him puts different people in the tavern and enables the quest to continue, rather than your friend and mine Maykin Blundas.

This quest is a lot less strait forwarded then the stock one. I guess i have to get used to it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Not sure if it's intended, but when i escort Cutler beckett, his ship also appear as mine. I have tried this time, and i could switch the ships. That sound a bit weird, it means you can start the quest with two almost free frigates.
 
It's not quite intentional to be able to "steal" the ships of your quest characters, but I suppose for now it's up to the player to not cheat around. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
 
i'm playin' over and over the jack sparrow quest!.. and i really love it... but everytime something happens... i couldn't end the storyline yet... the last problem is this: i've made it to the cortez's treasure with barbossa but barbossa says we are being followed by a english squadron... so as the quest says i have to sail to cayman under the portugal flag... i do as it says but when i go there by the world map nothing happens( not a problem with that, maybe i miss something at this part) when i go by the directsail from the witch's somethin'(i can't recall completely the shore's name) to cayman a black loading screen appears like on the isla de muerte after the land ho screen... but after the black loading screen a sea loading screen appears without the loading image... and i can hear the game continues on sea but i can see nothing but the sea loading screen... even when i press f1 the main menu opens but i can only hear the clicks, can't see anything else... (i hope i explained it right)
 
passed that part... after i restarted the game when i go to world map the scene on the ship opened... barbossa's betreyal... anyway, can you explain how to steal intercepter... when it surrenders i board it but can't speak with james norrington... norrington does nothing but sit and get up then sits and then gets up... nothing else... i boarded it before it surrenders once and killed norrington but after that when i went to tortuga the fort fired at me...
 
Hmmm... that's not good. At one point I really need to play through that quest and see for myself exactly what happens. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Add them to PROGRAM\console.c below the line <i>ref pchar = GetMainCharacter();</i> then load your game, press F12 and return to Isla de Muerte.

I have the same problem...Is there a solution to this glitch/trap? Do I have to talk to someone before going in the house?

Well i've tried going all around the house but there is nobody...and when I exit i'm in the spanish colony forgot what its called...san juan??

Wow you're not going to believe this: I uninstalled the game, deleted the bethesda softworks file in my Program Files, re-installed everything in order, and when I play I still have my saved games?!?
EDIT: And there is still nobody inside the house in Port Royale :'(
 
You still have your savegames even after deleting the Bethesda Softworks folder? Are you sure it was gone?
Was that even the folder where your game was running from? Because that just make any sense <i>at all</i>. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

I know! I'm sure the game was running from there all the mods and patches I installed there! What storyline has the less known bugs? I cant play this or the Bartolomeu o Portuges one...

Re the delete and re-install - you have something REALLY wacky going on there.
