Beta CTDs need squashing!

the current beta8 IS very stable at present - and if you've not tried any of the build13 stuff, you going to love all the new things added(the new interface is that good you'll wonder how you managed before!) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
I was going to say: Dont report old build bugs in the new build beta thread... but apparently I had forgot to add "13" to the title when I made this thread.

THATS why we all throught you were talking about bugs in the build 13 beta! LOL...

ok, it was my fault as well. i can't wait to try out all those new islands! are there any new side quests added?(except treasure quests)
 
Not really many new quests, no. But we do have the haunted Maltese Knight Abbey in Greenford and the ongoing battle between the Dutch and the French on Saint Martin. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
saint martin sounds like fun. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> i've read about the maltese knight abbey. it has three levels of dungeons. pretty massive! where all these layers made from scratch?
 
No, they're copied from stock game locations, but they have enough new things added to be fun. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
Just walk down the dorridors and you'll go to the next location. Just like in the Khael Roa maze.
 
There are a combination of just walk into the area auto-teleports, doorways you have to activate and pitfalls.

One of the abbey entrances is in the Oxbay dungeon, where you come out into the large room downstairs with the big pillar type thing in it. if you go into the hallway on the left, opposite where the enemies are, there is a portal into the abbey lower dungeon there.

In Greenford, the abbey entrance is in the new city area, the back door of the church with all the crazy construction in front of it.

Not sure where the other entrances are.

oh no, it's not copied from the maze is it!? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> actually, i didn't have that much trouble with it, i discovered that if you keep on going straight, and follow the paths with the mysterious light source if you can't, you'll end up at the end pretty fast as well. (and yes, i do know about the symbols) oh, blast! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> of course! the symbols! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" />

Oh, in the Abbey you WILL have trouble <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> But that's what it's made for <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
hmm, by the sound of it you can easily find yourself in very sudden trouble. is something like a crack in the floor added which you would fall through and end up in a place where you can't get out? as i would hate you for that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whippa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":whipa" border="0" alt="whippa.gif" />
