I start to get worried for a delayment in the releasedate as well...

I assume atleast a month is needed for betatesting...
 
The beta releases will come out when they come out I guess. I have stopped checking my mailbox every two hours for now. If the game is delayed, we'll hear about the delay as soon as it is public knowledge as well. Untill then, I'd rather Jeff worry about things that will progress the process rather than spend his time informing little old me <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Not that there are anything wrong with updates! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I assume we have to play original pirates for a while then...

Regarding "Pending", I think there are still going to be people asked to do this - it's not the end - from the way they asked what you wanted to do and what is your area of expertise, I am guessing they want people for a lot of different tasks... You may still "make it" in a different capacity - I think the notifications aren't over yet...

Well, I have to wait till November but no problem. There are enough good games coming out in the next days for me (Rome TW, Evil Genius, Dawn of War and maybe I'll try SW Battlefront).

Don't be too dissapointed SirDrago. The release is not so far away.

I wasn't selected. Oh well. It's probably because my profession is programmer. They want `non-programmers` to test it so they can get the `non-programmer` point of view. Well as I said before, I would give all Admins and Mods from PA! a Beta Account. You all show here a lot dedication on Pirate Games and definatly deserve it.

Well to my understanding the beta had 3 or so phases so if you dont get accepted into the first theres still a chance!!

Sadly I didnt get a email...but Im still hoping

from the news..the beta people are going to start a cartell maybe us that didnt get accepted should start a rebellion against those who got accepts lol
