Ya, I think it was with the people who signed up for the beta but not for the newsletter. So, Jeff, can we get an update. Should we look for it next week or the week after. Yeah, I know, I have not posted here in awhile regularly. Mostly because I've been busy.

And by the looks of the timing of this beta, it is almost unbelievable they are trying to fit a beta in such a short time. hey its a gaming company...if the game isnt ready..hopefully they will push the release date back

Here I'm trying to say that it is hard for a company to keep customers happy, and it is hard for customers to understand big companies, just because they are big and they can not do everything the customer wants. Simple as that.
Fact is the people at Atari are under pressure from all sides.
 
I've waited 16 years for a Pirates! sequel. I can handle waiting 2 more weeks to get into beta (if it's in the stars of course) or a few more months if they game is pushed back. I'd really love to have it for the Thanksgiving holiday though and I'm sure they'd like to get it on the shelves by then too.

I don´t think the delay of the beta will have an effect on the release date. It seems that the game is pretty much done and 2 months should be enough time to get rid off the last bugs.

Sorry, I have been out doing Week of Welcome for my college. It seems we have no new updates. Well, I have one. I did get an `e-mail` to beta test AXIS and ALLIES, not pirates. So, I know the system works. I am just waiting for the `e-mail`. Jeff, an update please. That is, if you have any new info. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" /> Also on a side note, I am trying to get into USC master program for accounting. If you have any connections or know anyone. PLEASE `E-MAIL` ME! All the help I can get would be great. Sorry about the last bit, but I am really looking. Well back to WoW stuff. Arrgh! have submitted email addy 5+ times and still no newsletter. At this point, even news on how long the delay will be will be great. The beta emails were supposed to be sent out last week in original plans.
