CyberOps : Dude whats up with the ENGINE.EXE you added at update 1? seems you just changed the ICON of the 1.41 ( Reloaded EXE ) and changed the version from 1.0.0.1 to 1.0.0.2, its funny since the 1.42 released by akella still says 1.0.0.1 lol <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Easy dude we just need to wait until someone removes the starforce protection to the 1.42 update, i dont see any need to make people believe the supermod right now has the 1.42 totaly included when its not ( most of the 1.42 updates were at .c files that we can not "see" yet ) , i personally dont see any problem, once I get the updated 1.42 source its just about to check all the updated files , analize em and add the proper updates to the supermod.

What i just noticed is that ENGINE.EXE has its own debugger options :

Menu: DEBUGMENU
View: SourceViewer, AttributeViewer

Actually its launched via command line.

Cyberops, I think I've found a bug in the Guadaloupe brothel. The brothel in Barbados works fine, including the video <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wub:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> , but the game CTD's upon visiting the one in Guadaloupe. I downloaded the full Klite codec pack, so don't think the problem lies there..

I tried it and i had a few other testers try it to buw we encountered no problems at the brothel in Guadaloupe.
I even tried it with both video's and no problems.
 
Just a small note to everyone, if im not online as much the coming 3 to 4 weeks then that is because we are going to do some rebuilding in our home, so im gonna be really busy, als the development department at galaxyproductions will be having a 2 week vacation time until the end of the month.

And in the mean time i will be enjoying the new flight simulator game which arrives next week and that is also one of my hobbies, however i will stil ldrop by at least once a day or once every other day. Just the fact remains that rebuilding some things in our home will take a lot of time to.

Hmm, I'll have to visit all the other brothels too, to see if the game crashes. Yeah, it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
The actual game seems to run fine since installing the Supermod, however if I choose to open AOP Super MOD.exe, it crashes right away saying:

AOP Super MOD.exe-Application Error

The Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).

Is this because I used the cracked.exe file so that I would no longer have starforce? This is the only change I have made, but I seem to remember you saying that this included anti-starforce stuff, or that it was compatible with the patch...

Also - how do you choose the music you get to play the game with?

Oh - and also - is there a complete listing of the changes made to the game in a text file somewhere or something? if it's there, I can't seem to find a readme. Sorry once again for asking questions that everybody else has probably been able to figure out for themselves...
 
Actually Heretik, I believe that error first appeared today with the installation of the last update. Until then you had only to click on the AOP Super Mod exe and it popped up and requested your input upon your music choice. Now like you it seems I can no longer get this options...the game has to be started by the new .exe instead of the older ones

At least this seems to be the case with mine

If all that the tab did was bring up a music selection, It's not such a big deal for now. I can tell already that there has been a lot of new music put into the game that was not there before, and so far it all sounds pretty good - so no complaints here.

jaa, maar als je crew op het schip wilt moet je even naar, RESOURCE/MODELS/SHIPS/SAILERPOINTS gaan, brig1 kopieren en de naam veranderen in Brig_rn1.
 
Update 2

Some minor fixes have been done:

1. Crew visible on now on the new ship - Thanks Thomas.
2. Morale flag is now fixed - Thanks Phaser


As always copy the files to the age of pirates -caribbean tales folder and
overwrite when asked.

More updates and bug fixing will be done, so please be patient and remember
we all do this for free and we do not get paid, sending a bunch of email will not
make me work faster on this mod then i already am and dont forget we have a
real life to, with wife and kids that need attention and time.

Having that said, have a great time playing the game.

Many Thanks again guys for the updates..your doin a fine job.

Thomas the Terror: your ship is quite nice, and shows up a lot. I captured one last night, but there is a small problem with it that isnt cosmetic. Getting work on "Her" in shipyards is painful if it isnt your first or primary ship. Also when I went to the Store in Bridgetown, I could not unload or sell any cargo off her because it didnt have a picture of her present....and I knew it was there... Once I swapped ships using the F2 button and traded Captains it was fine. So using HER as your main ship is a work around ( I actually captured British Brig and Corvette in the same battle....but both sides were labelled as Pirates)

Has anyone else seen this happen yet???
 
yeah pirates can fight one another and if a pirate captured a british brig then they offcourse can loose it again to u.

Cyberops....the Pirates in any of the large groups I have found, have a lot of British Brigs they are using. If this ship was meant as a Naval Vessel only...."its Broke" Sorry!

The good news I guess, is that Ships have now been ported into the game at least 90% working well! Will we see more ships brought over from POTC? And please I hope this wont get into a thread with the arguments how "they are not good enough" they work...they sail....they were somebodies creation, and they add variety to the Oceans
 
No it's not a prolem pirates can capture the british brig and yeah it's one their favorites i know.

Also the update 2 is now available i added it but forgot to make it visible for everyone.
