Mod Release AOP Super MOD

I'm definatly seeding man. If its not showing me as seeding then just get it from the leechers, I'm super seeding so eventually all the peices will be distributed. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> After they are I'll start regular seeding.
 
Yeah i sleep but not last night worked all night long on different things.

Also to change character skins check in the models\characters first to see what characters are available.
 
I got about 81% from FileFront yesterday, so I figured I'd just get the rest from the torrent. Turns out I'm the leecher with the biggest part of the file, and there are no seeds. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

1.The "crew moral flag is still missing" alltho i have corrected this im my game you may need to make a fix for those who aren't code savy.

2.The "T Superspeed" thing crashes my game, alltho i have corrected this in my game you may need to make a fix for those who aren"t code savy.

I think in future releases you should "NOT" include any cheats in the mod not everyone wants to have the game easy or have things givin to them at least i don't, i would rather find them or buy them.Just create a cheat thread which i think we allready have and post how to do it.

phaser could u send me the fix for the flag i did not have any time to look for that, also i have no problems with the T superspeed. And regarding cheats it's up to the people if they want to use the cheats or not.

Well the main support is on our support forum, but since pirates ahoy is like my second home on the internet im also available here.

However on our support forum we also have our developers who can help out with certain questions, so it's basicly up to you where u like to ask your questions.

I'm still seeding, the top leechers are at 80.8% and rising. so it is only a matter of time before about 12 more people have it and are seeders as well.
 
Thanks Cyberops, I see one little problem right now. The Devlin "character/model" in the Super Mod is dark haired......the Devlin model in the normally installed "starforce" protected game is the Blond model ( I got them here on two computers) So I swapped the devlin model......but it didnt work. Everytime I start a new game the Dark Haired model with Mustache gets used again......there is obviously another file that needs fixin!

Yes, you're showing up as a seed now (along with the other people who just finished).
 
back again finally for the weekend, and i see someone stole my signature flag :p

anyways, time to play for alittle bit again

im actually getting just as many crashes now than i did before.... it seems to crash on random loading screens now which it didnt before, it just crashed when i went to load a save game, then i tried again and it worked

im gunna go play potc with the build mod, that hasnt crashed for me yet...

i cant be bothered playing this for an hour or so, then losing everything ive done because of a crash, just gets frustrating

i heard this off some friends who were trying the mod aswell, infact one said the mod caused it to crash more, and it was installed to a fresh install of aop, which is a shame as the mod seems to add some really cool features, i suppose tho if you mod on a buggy game your mods gonna be buggy too )i'm no programmer, does it show <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />)
 
Strange because most people have less crashes. Did they install the patch first because that can definatly cause problems.

Hmm, I have it installed over my game, and everything is working fine so far. Possibly something running in the background on their computers that it doesn't like?
 
either that or they are playing a different version of the game, perhaps a different language choice as the mod is build for the english language.
Also a problem is caused a lot of times by old video card drivers and old sound card drivers i recommend updating drivers to the latest possible maybe even the beta drivers if there are any, specially when using radeon video cards i recommend using the beta drivers.


Thanks to thomas we have the first update to the supermod available which adds a new ship to the game, the royal navy brig, will also be available in the shipyard where u can buy it. All the new ships however will show up at the bottom of the list. Only thing that is still missing in this ship is the crew working on the deck and there is no small image of it, but that is something that will be worked on and will be fixed in a future update, at least u have something new to sail with and for this moment u have to imagine the crew until we have that fixed. Also some minor bug fixes have been done:

1. Fixed the missing dialog in the St.Kitts bank, is now available and working.
2. Fixed some of the problems that came from the ENGINE, this is now fixed.
3. Fixed more sound bugs in the fmodex.dll

Unpack all the files, and overwrite the old ones when asked extract to the Age of Pirates - Caribbean Tales folder.

Starting a new game is recommended to fix all problems, as always enjoy your game.

I think i have found the problem with no crew showing up, i hadn`t "made" a seperate sailorspoint, i havent test it, i will test it tomorrow.
 
Cyberops, I think I've found a bug in the Guadaloupe brothel. The brothel in Barbados works fine, including the video <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wub:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> , but the game CTD's upon visiting the one in Guadaloupe. I downloaded the full Klite codec pack, so don't think the problem lies there..
