Solved Ambroz Bricenos!

New Horizons, also known as Build 14, is a huge set of mods. It changes "Pirates of the Caribbean" almost into an entirely new game. The world map now shows the actual Caribbean. The original story about Nathaniel Hawk is still there but there are several other stories as well. There are also lots more secondary missions.

The original story, called "Tales of a Sea Hawk" in New Horizons, plays out the same as the unmodded game.

Other stories have their own ways of finishing, of course! One of the other stories is about Jack Sparrow and is based on the first "Pirates of the Caribbean" film. Another is about Horatio Hornblower and is based on a TV series. And some other stories are entirely the work of the people who wrote them and are not based on any book or film.

No. The Black Pearl does appear, but does not look like the one in the film. That's another difference - New Horizons has a more accurate version of the Black Pearl.

Yes, lots of characters from "Pirates of the Caribbean" appear in Jack Sparrow's story. You'll meet Cutler Beckett, Will Turner, Hector Barbossa, Joshamee Gibbs and plenty more.

None of those characters will kill Artois Voysey. They appear in "Hoist the Colours" for specific parts of the story and have nothing to do with Voysey.

If Artois Voysey is killed before he tells you about the treasure, the quest ends at once and you'll never get the treasure. After he tells you about the treasure, he is no more important than any other officer.

It doesn't matter who kills Artois Voysey. If he hasn't told you about the treasure, you will never get it. After he tells you about the treasure, he's just a normal officer.

Rheims only appears in "Tales of a Sea Hawk". You won't see him, or his journal, in "Hoist the Colours".

If you're still playing "Tales of a Sea Hawk" and have just found Rheims' journal, read the questbook. An important part of the journal is missing. You can not now find out where Rheims has gone.
