There is nothing important to the main story.

He tries to deliver a cargo to Conceicao but the storekeeper has nothing to say about the quest. This may be the bug which sometimes affects cargo quests. He can never close this quest and will never get another.

He does succeed in escorting a ship to Isla Muelle. There he tries to talk to the admiral in the town hall, but his reputation is Rascal so the admiral will not give him a quest.

He goes to Douwesen where he fights his way through the cave behind the waterfall and finds both Artois Voysey's treasure and the quad-barrel pistol. That should finish Artois Voysey's sidequest.

But all he does for the main story is look at the questbook about delivering the letter to the pirate chief. The video never shows him going to Quebradas Costillas to deliver the letter.

Not at the moment because your job in the main story is to deliver a letter to Quebradas Costillas.

But if you are at Douwesen then you can start a secondary mission, probably the biggest secondary mission. There are a lot of women standing outside Douwesen town hall. Talk to one of them.

You do not need to buy two new ships.

You will need a bigger ship for yourself. You can either buy a better ship or capture an enemy ship.

The video failed to show capturing a ship. The player was attacked by three luggers, boarded one, and had to let it sink because he didn't have a spare officer. I'd have had at least one spare officer, then I could have put an officer onto the lugger and capture it. And then, when I reached port, I could sell the lugger at the shipyard.

Apart from "Deliver a letter to a pirate chief", all the active missions are secondary.

"Escort a merchant to Isla Muelle" is a repeating quest - if you complete it, you can ask any tavern keeper for a job and you might get another mission to escort a merchant to somewhere else.

"Strange things going on in the archipelago" is the one you got from talking to the women in Douwesen. This is a big quest, though still secondary. Be sure to finish it before you complete the main story.

Why when i go to Isla muelle and return to Dowsen i get to find job ?

If you mean jobs to escort merchants, they are random. Sometimes there is a merchant who wants to be escorted, sometimes there is not.

Those jobs are not important. There are two far more important things for you to do. One is to deliver a letter to the pirate chief on Quebradas Costillas. The other is to go to Redmond, where you should go to church.

If you are in Douwesen, go and talk to the governor. He should offer you a job to find who kidnapped the children. Next, go to the tavern and ask the tavern keeper about a captain who saw the ship. Then talk to the captain.

The quest will eventually lead to Quebradas Costillas. Then you can deliver that letter!
