personally I think it is the name that the developers of this mega work .. that you find here on the forum .. they called it that .. this as others have told you is the right procedure if you want to play Potc with the NH mod .. .just a tip, delete old saves or save them somewhere ...

yes NH is the mod for potc totally changes the game by adding new missions .. if you read here in the forum you get an idea

but re-read what I wrote like 3 messages ago I put the links to you .. the files are 2 you have to download first 1 and then the other .. if you go to the Download section of the forum .. find the guide on how to install it and cone to download it ..

if you read carefully the instructions that you find where you downloaded the 2 files for the NH mod..it does not tell you that you do not have to put it in C but you have to create an example folder:
C:\Games\Pirates of the Caribbean".
as long as you don't put it in the programs folder .. conflicts may arise .. consider that the mod adds and replaces files to the original Potc game folder .. weighing it down everything here .. I didn't do this problem. applied to the letter the instructions of the mod and I still play it and the same runs well it is fluid without crashes or strange errors ... ciaoo

So if i have got the unmodded game i can anyway install the modded game without that i buy It ?

if you want to install and play with the NH mod on Potc, you have to do a new installation of Potc as per the guide and then you put the mod (NH) .. I (Potc) have it in original on dvd since 2005.

Build 14 is the current version of the mod. It adds several new storylines, lots of sidequests, new ships and weapons, and a more realistic map of the Caribbean. But you can still play the original storyline, now called "Tales of a Sea Hawk".
