*Yuk starts making some kind of gurgling sound* WTF? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_confused.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="icon_confused.gif" />
 
I don't know, it looks like the gun is charged up but he's nowhere to be found. We can't keep running past the gun continuously, and if that Yuk splits in two then we will have two to deal with, though they will be weaker.
 
What if we run towards the gun, then circle around behind it and open fire on the Yuk? Of course, we'll probably have to be going a lot faster than we are now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
Well, that looks like something we will have to do. Since Morgan isn't here one of us is going to have to fire the gun. That means one of us is going to have to act as bait. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> One of us will have to lead the yuk(s) away from here while the other gets behind the gun and then the other one will have to run in front of the gun again. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> And also if the Yuk is just chasing one of us it may not split into two. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

Salty runs behind a crate while the Yuk follows Stallion. After it leaves Salty comes out and runs behind the gun and looks to see if he can figure out the myriad of controls.
 
There be no directions on this thing. I'm totally lost. There are several levers but it appears they have to be pulled in some sort of order before the gun will heat up and fire. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
 
Why not pull some and see what happens? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
 
*With trepidation, Salty bites his lip and pulls on one of the levers. Nothing happens. He pulls another lever and a low humming sound begins to emit from the contraption. Several blinking green lights appear to flash in sequence but nothing else further happens. Meanwhile, the Yuk continues chasing Stallion around though it has not split into two which is a good sign. Salty calls out to Stallion as he passes again.

"I've pulled two of the levers but it doesn't seem to have started the process of warming up the laser."

A small popping sound starts to emit from the gun and Salty steps back.

"That can't be good." He mutters to himself. "Where the hell is Morgan?"
 
I think you just need to press this button. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> *presses the red button on the weapon* <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" /> What noise is that? Why didin't it shoot? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> *hears a small noise going a REALLY LOUD ONE!* That can't be good! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> *a HUGE ball of red light comes out from the weapon* *SWUUUUUUUUUUUUDDHHH!!!!!!!* *SPLASH* *the ball hits the yuk and then this happens* <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" />

Salty and Cylon fly through the air, twirling and twisting and not being sure when they will finally land. A huge mushroom cloud has risen where the gun was. God only knows what happened.

i'm kinda toasted down here. i think the yuk's gone. and most of the gunbarrel. looks like some tricked out tuba now.
