WOW! That is WAAAY weird. I didn't know there were two types of money in the game. Has anyone found any aztec coins in treasure chests recently? Build 13 was the first build I downloaded, so i'm no help here...

no, but it DID have aztec coins. i'm not sure at all wether the bug was in build 13. i think it was. sharkbait, do you have build 13 or 14?

what i find rather strange is that i never found that strange gold in any other place. are you supposed to find aztec coins only in chests or do you find them at a high level in other places as well? if i find that strange gold in a chest or on a corpse then it's probably the aztec coins, as i never found normal gold in a chest.

There are Aztec coins in Build 12.1 and you find them at random. Same goes for Build 13. There should also be many Aztec coins in chests quite frequently.

To my knowlege ..NEVER ...found gold of any type . In anything but a quest treasure chest ...or the chest on my ship..at the beginning of a game .

I have build 13 full, update 1. I got the update cause it would fix Cayman Kai. I only find Aztec coins (which don't look like Aztec coins at all) in treasure quests. I haven't tried any treasure quest on the original build 13.

as i've already said and i'll say again, that other stack of money IS the aztec coins. the problem is that it isn't, if you get my meaning.

There is an option in the new interface for new icons. I will guess that using the new Icons is what changes the look of the gold.

I have a treasure map that says to go to sand bluff at Caman and walk into the jungle to a cave...I fought the usual treasure guards but no cave...

can anyone help me with this one ?

Ya, the screenshots I added in page 3.

I was very lucky to fall in it accidentally, but finding the entrance shouldn't be a problem if you turn on the thingy discussed in page 4.
