Things I haven't released yet

Very strange. It does in both my and Thomas' game versions. I found the cause as well: <i>refShip.Capacity = 325;</i>. If this is changed to 800, it works just fine. This is a really weird bug, because the crash occurs on the changing of the day while sailing on the worldmap. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
 
well, i only know that i had a cutter for a while. maybe i boarded a different ship afterwards.
 
Did you spend at least one night on the worldmap? That's when the crash occurs. Other than that, the ship works fine.
 
apart from the fact that the bowsprit isn't attached to the hull, you mean. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> don't worry though, it stays in place. somehow.
 
That does not answer my question.
By "works fine" I mean "works without causing any gameplay trouble". I don't count slight graphical errors.

Now that you mention it Kevin Atlanta, I have the texture file myself and already gave it to a specific .gm character file, so no extra work needed - other than editing the initModels.c in order to purchase this outfit in a tailor shop...

Thanks a simple virtual sailor and KevinAtlanta! I think the texture should also be in <a href="http://www.pafiles.com/potc/Pieter%20Assorted%20Files/+%20Characters/" target="_blank">this</a> FTP folder. It might be in the Assorted Characters.zip file.

To KevinAtlanta: There's still a bunch of assorted files in my FTP folder that are not yet in the modpack. If you would be willing to, could you please have a look through there and see what more can be added into the Build? Some of it already is added and some is being added, but that still leaves some to add. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
made a test with a cutter, bought it in Isla Muelle and sailed on the Worldmap to Cuba, no problem found. Nice small ship, looks good for getting experience for sinking bigger ships after boarding them <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />.
 
Thanks for checking. Which game version were you using? I am thinking that the whole Cutter problem might have something to do with something entirely unrelated, but I have no idea what. I am having more of those inexplicable weirdness in my game. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
 
Just thought I'd join in. I used the new cutter for 200 odd days (game days, obviously!) and never had a problem. Most of the time I was in the worldmap. Build 14.7+ if thats relevant.

Oops, you are correct. I took a closer look and they are not in the game currently.

So, I went ahead and added them. Also, I updated the GM model cannon locators for the "Fearles3" model to match the skin (she is now a 44 cannon warship). I'm fairly sure she is now the only 44 gun in the game (at least with the correct cannon locators so that she will fire properly).

Excellent, Kevin! Thanks a lot! One request though: Could you possibly use a different site for hosting your pictures? Every once in a while when I view one of your pictures, the site wants to do a system scan of my computer and when I say no, it asks again and again until I can get rid of it, but it's really annoying. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I've NEVER had a problem with imagevenue and I use it to host pix all the time (I post at least a couple of hundred pix a month there on several different forums with several thousand users). I also run Firefox (which blocks pop-ups) and blocks unwated / harmful java and javascript. And I've never heard of anyone else having trouble with imagevenue either (and I probably would have heard if people were gettting this kind of error).

What do you mean the "site wants to do a system scan"? Are you running a virus scanner locally that tries to cut in on a false positive? Or is there something on the site (i.e., an activex control) that pops up in a new window? Are you sure you don't have something else going on that is unrelated to a JPEG photo / image hosting site?
