yes. the anti-magical electric field works like this:
magic warps the laws of nature into a new form. science uses these laws for it's own ends. therefore, they cancel each other out if enough power is put into either of the two, hence the reason why static fields can deflect spells, at least to a certain extent. this also works the other way round: a gun will have a chance to misfire when near a strong magical force. it's a very important part of the game's system.

The car handling in that game is much better but I want to use joystick to move the car realistically if they have put this dynamic joystick controlling thing in the game.
