i don't have any pictures yet, and besides, it's kinda crash-prone... like, every stroke and a half. i want a properly working system first. maybe a single-cylinder engine. either way, tuning the regulator timing is tough as hell. right now i'm building a steam-powered tank. just added iron sideskirts and most of the lego chassis. i'm getting more iron wiring for the regulator bars now. pity they don't sell thay old mecchano anymore, since it's perfect for armour plating.i'm making the cabin out of that stuff, as well as the plough on the front. maybe the boiler too.

well, i used to work within the limitations of my components. nowadays i just think 'screw it' and make the missing ones myself. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> and it turns out the regulators are going to be made out of giant paperclips.

I know what you mean. I sometimes have to fabricate my on parts with I am ship modeling.

Yes I am. I have been modeling masted ships for about 25 years. Some from kits and some from scratch.

my machine is getting heavier and heavier. i've just finished the plough on the front, entirely out of metal. first it was silly big. i adjusted it, and now it's just a modest monstrously big. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> the treads are going to be too small though, i think... i have to fix that somehow. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
