i'll be gone for the weekend. 60 year marriage anniversary of my grandparents.

oh ye gods, they really topped themselves with this years halloween event. it's trick or treat, with one minor difference: the only ones in posession of the candy... are the independant pirates. and they're not giving it without a fight.

okay, maybe it's not this weekend. i'm not sure when it is. it's on a weekend, anyway.

i was recommened by a senior officer of our crew to join the crew of a really famous captain of a sloop. she threatened that i'd better be good if she recommended me. i felt exactly like i was with the royal court or something. funnily enough, both my senior officer and i got rated 'poor' at the next duty report. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

i can make him look even more like my PotC character, since they do sell that particular type of hat, but i kinda like how he looks now.

i've heard a rather interesting rumor:

i turns out that some islands now have a voodoo curse on them which turns you into a zombie until you log off. Cambium island is one of these.
