Who's enya? A castrated person from Kenya? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

surprising. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

they made some music for Last of the Mohicans, LotR, Braveheart, Pearl Harbor, and the like. i think my favorite would be Paint the Sky With Stars.

I'll have to look on Youtube for 'em. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

they've also made the ending theme for Gladiator. their newest album isn't too good though, by the sound of it. another good one is China Roses.

yeah, but i prefer Anywhere Is and Sail Away. overall, i like their songs with english lyrics best. Long Long journey is one of those from their new album.

Forgot to mention something that I bought when I was in BC: a book called "The Feet of the Furtive", published in 1913.

You can get a PDF copy of it from here: http://www.archive.org/details/feetoffurtive00roberich

It's a collection of stories about animals - it looks like it's all fiction, but I've only read a few pages.

i know the type of book. i've got a few of classic horror story collections. you know, Edgar Allan Poe and the like.

My aunt has a copy of Treasure Island from the late 1800s <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> . How old are yours? Old books are hard to find here nowadays, outside of antique stores that is. I've got no interest in what they're worth - I just think it's neat having something that's so old. And what's written in them is far better than most of the junk that's in ones from today. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

the horror stories range from late victorian to 20th century. some of them are more interesting in the way they play with the mind than scary.

Old horror stories are far better than the stuff from now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> My uncle gave me a crapload of old Westerns the day before we flew back, and my luggage was searched because of those bloody books. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> I was told they show up like blocks of cheese on the x-ray. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> I was figuring they'd look more like bricks of cocaine. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
