I seriously need to quit looking at the new games that're coming out - I just discovered Mercenaries 2: A World in Flames. damn. i'm actually talking about the gameplay music. i have seen somewhere how you can do it by downloading a certain file decoder and converters. but i've lost it and can't find it anymore.

you know, Sabaton is really appropriate for HoMM 3 and games like that at times. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> it can really set the mood. Rome Total War 2 sounds pretty awesome with Attero Dominatus, as long as you're playing some barbaric tribe fighting rome.

i've seen the first 'mercenaries'. was kinda fun. this one looks roughly the same, but a bit more brutal.

woah... listening the band with one earplug is wierd. most of the time you hear nothing but a din of instruments, and when it stops you get the feeling someone's been shouting in your ear. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> with both earplugs you don't have these wierd problems.

well, if this third RAM card works (somehow) i might be able to try all those fun new reflexive games. they've been releasing quite a few good ones lately. of course, none of them actually work on my wreck. yet.

i think you'll just have to wait in anticipation for your amusement in the form of the ISP being swamped by complaints. shame really. i just found a full download of Praetorians for you.

i'm getting pretty good at the game by now. i completed the first mission with a better than 1:10 loss/kill ratio. that's REALLY good for this game, but i think i could do better. i bungled the light infantry in the final battle, which i completely lost, being 53 of the 70 losses. the remaining losses where a few legionares who's cohort took the full blast of the enemy charge and a full group of gallic cavalry, who also got tangled up in the mayhem. that horde at the end is immense. i think they make up more than half the enemy force. i didn't loose a single unit before that final battle, but this careful way of warfare takes ages. the mission took me 2 and a half hours.
