i think i'll be using these drawings to make a proper sketchup model. but on the other hand, i'm also supposed to make an airship and a customized ironclad for the nox eternis navy.

I finished playing Gothic II NotR's addon world and then I went to Captain Greg to report about the death of evil guy named 'Raven' (I killed this guy) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" /> after reporting the same thing to Saturas The Water Magician. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

no, the gatling cannon Mk III is behaving well. it's nearly fully electronical and hydraulical, and fires and aims great.

i'm back to playing HoMM 3. that last scenario was pretty cool. i just love those seemingly endless Minas Tirith-styled sieges against impossible odds. that tower fortress fought off 3 enemy heroes (each hero has it's own army) from two different players using merely it's garrison. it was awesome. the reinforcements arrived just in time to reclaim it from the fourth hero, and fought off another two at the same time. i had the massive advantage of being able to control an area where everyone had to pass through, which contained the tower. it was tough going against three players and later two, but i could control the area with a single army which kept being reinforced from my main base to the north. that army was unstoppable. i lost the fort only twice, the second time being the one i already mentioned.

It seems that Age of Conan hasn't lived up to the hype - people I've talked to said it's not worth the money, and it has more bugs than content <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . The game's forums are apparently a place to avoid - asking for help gets you banned <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> . There is also no single-player whatsoever - the beginning of the game, which is single-player, still needs an internet connection. On the other hand, it's got pirates in it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> . Maybe all is not lost... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

i like em. it means i can take my time to plan my moves. in that respect, i'm a really good tactical thinker. problem is that i overlook something a quarter of the time. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> i'm not that good in RTS', unless i'm defending or when i can plan ahead. praetorians would be the best example of that. gimme a hill and i'll turn it into a fort that can fight off triple the amount of hostile soldiers. it's also kinda fun to sneak 600 soldiers past the guards. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

i got shiney spikey stuff too! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> you've got to hate fighting german cavalry though. it's the only cavalry unit that can walk through forests, and their impale charge is a one-hit-kill per unit against each unit. ouch. hunters can do the same thing, and they're nearly as good in melee as at range. they're a bit like ninja's with their ambushing and hiding skills. only a wolf can detect them. luckily for me, they're all quite rare. but hunters remain awesome anyway. they can actually win a melee battle against auxilary infantry. that's 16 vs. 30! their only weakness is that they can't fire in an arc. and as the third and final special barbarian unit there's the allways present berserkers with their 5-and-a-half-foot swords. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> i got a bunch of those guys up on the walls of a fort once. it was such a butchery it was almost funny. one them gave those archers a swipe and 5 of them fell of the wall! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

here's comes another battle update! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blah:" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> really, it's a good one.

woah. that scenario was sick. i lost, but it was great nonetheless. that was the great helm's-deep-o-rama. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" /> it was elves, men and dwarves against an unoverseeable horde of orcs, goblins, ogres, rocs, behemoths (six of them. strongest unit of the Stronghold when upgraded), mages, genies, gargoyles, golems, naga's, and even a giant! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> i fought off no less than eight of those hordes with merely level one to three creatures. it was incredible. the castle got leveled with the ground after each seige, and it only fell at the final and biggest attack because i ran out of arrows. and walls. that one consisted of the giant, 3 behemoths (i had killed 2 of them earlier), 4 or 6 naga's, a bunch of thunderbirds (lol. upgraded rocs), a whole horde of goblins, more than 100, more than 30 orcs, 14 orc chieftains, and a ballista. my hero had NO spells or defensive equipment, and had more than 40 battle dwarves, 9 archers, 50-ish centaurs, 21 grand elves, which is relatively few, and 11 silver pegasi. normally, this means your triple-toasted. i got defeated when the enemy had one orc and 3 orc chieftains left, along with the ballista. nothing remained of the castle.
