Ah yes, gym - my least-liked class. The idiots here just love dodgeball. And running - lots and lots of running.

Hope your fingers recover - I get cramps in mine after typing for long periods of time.

my fingers have had YEARS of training. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> it's not my fingers though. it's the rest of my hand. must be that funny-looking uppercut technique of mine for serving the ball. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> *BLOING* hey what the hell it actually worked ouch my hand hurts. gym isn't too bad for me. though i must say that it's getting a real nuisance that the losing team has to do push-ups. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> that guy manages to squeeze that into just about everything. i have issues with running myself, though they fortunately only do it when we're having gym class outside, and even then not always. i must say that i love hockey, solely because of the fact that i can go nuts with that stick. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> i always manage to give the ball one heck of a whack without hurting my hands. one example of the things i do with hockey would be this: two players are fighting over the ball. and there comes me with the stick, jumps right between them, knocks the ball off to some undetermined direction and nearly lobs the head off the enemy in the process. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> here's a tip: go for the feet.

good news! the manga drawing is done, and very nice indeed. touched up on the left eye and the nose a little. it's actually really simple to draw faces like this. the only thing you have to learn is how to draw eyes. the rest is just simple lines and techniques. but this drawing style IS mainly focused on the eyes. that's why you have to get them right. the main problem i'm facing is to where to draw the line between reality and fiction. for instance, i could lightly draw the neck muscles, but you usually don't see such things in these drawings. i left them out. didn't show her the end result yet. however, i'm going to work on a drawing request for her and from her. a centaur, which she can't draw herself. i already have the picture in my head, which is a good thing. let's see if this works!

on the topic of manga drawings, Megatokyo has an interesting sketch today of Miho, if you've been reading the comic. looks like a new appearance. she kinda looks like a mix of two girls i know, one of them being the one i've mentioned earlier.

grmpf. there is doubt in my heart. in other words, i'm really confused here. firstly, the girl i keep mentioning might not be the right choice somehow. there's a connection missing. i knew all along that if there would ever be a relationship, it wasn't going to last anyway, but it would be more of a 'test run' to put it really blunt. i didn't get turned down or anything, don't get me wrong. but there's just no connection here.

however.

there is a second girl. almost the complete opposite of the first. i have been swaying between these two girls for a long time already, so this is nothing new, but still. the main difference is that there seems to be some sort of reaction from her side, but this is a confusing one. she often seems happy at certain moments when talking with me, but then gets a strange look about her, like she's dissapointed or sad. i think i know what's going on. and i think that the solution for this would just be simple patience.
