I been wonderin wher the good sword be hiding at all I got is the ones they sell I got one that costed me 5050 somting not the Germen one but the other one that does beter for attack and defenc. Pleas tell me wher the great ones are like the windmill I rember moding a file for that one but dont remeber what is was to do so agin was wind_mill or somting you had to put.

Itt shows up randomly as well.hard tew find a fine ur excellent sword,it will eventually turn up though when ye level up <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
I know how to max my self up and sail the Manowar as soon as you begin game <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I can even give as much monoy as posable to.
Ship inti fiel and Carator inti file your caractor you just max your abilities and change your monny. The Ship you need to do is little harder but is posable <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I finally settled down with a nice Portugese girl, never did get any girls in Douwesan to show up.

I was commenting in another thread about the "exellent", (or "excellent" swords, if you prefer... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> ) and so far I have found:

1. Excellent Silver Leaf on Rocky Shore on Redmond, have to go out in the water and swim to a rock you can climb up on,

2. Excellent Highlander in the pirate stronghold on Q.C., it's a spot in the bushes I thin across from the store and also the tavern,

3. Excellent Rapier on Conceicao on the Leviathan Rock shore, the sea route to the smugglers outpost.

I am currently at 130 level and playing at the Adventurer setting, I am sort of working my way around the islands, looking for the obscure treasure locations to what else I can find, I'll keep you posted.... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" />
 
Sir Christopher I think those spots generate random items - Under the tree outside the tavern on Oxbay I have found the most wonderful swords - sometimes... Sometimes I find only wine or potions or an emerald or something like that... Sometimes you won't find ANYTHING.

ONCE just after I started a new game I found a master spyglass behind a house on FdF but I've gone back there on occasion and have *never* found anything quite as nice again. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

A moment of serendipity - the very first time I went down into the dungeon in Redmond I found a HIGHLANDER on that poor KILTED skeleton corpse (I think that's where he is). But I have never found another sword on him since. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

I think you're right, but I'll keep experimenting because I'm enjoying exploring, and I want to see if I can get an excellent Cardinal's Guard or Solingen Rapier. I hadn't seen an excellent sword prior to my trying to figure out what's up with the monks, and I was pissed because I lost two of the excellent swords that I listed above, the silver leaf and the highlander, because I couldn't save the game, but when I went back I found them there again. Maybe they are random, but I am wondering if there are remote locations that are set up to be more likely to yield up the high end swords. I'll keep experimenting...

Prior to loading Build 11 I used to get that Highlander off the poor dead Scotsman in the Redland Dungeon, and the Dragon Tounge in the Oxbay one and the Douwesan Catacombs, and the Falchion in the Oxbay mines, but now I just get random treasures there too.

Ther is the 4 barrol hand gun wich you can buy. Ther is how ever a mission called tresur hunt that has it for a prize <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> either way its easyer to buy it I think lol I acualy just figured out the long way of geting it as i said beter off buyin it lol <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
I have the weapons mod turned off, got tired of looking at all those rusty old swords. I used to really enjoy finding those neat swords in unusual places, and I also used to love the hunt - with the weapons mod, it takes all the fun out of it, I think... There wasn't the hunt anymore, and I just got tired of trying to figure out what was good and what was bad...
 
I just realized I forgot about the Maltese Knight sword that you could find on Conceicao in the original game, I used to leave it because I thought it looked better there, (kinda disrespectful to take it off of a grave,) and also it wasn't the greatest blade out there.

Thanks Gray Wolf, I find I can never get all four shots off on the revolver in the game, and I'll trade off between the Scrapper and the Double Shot depending on my mood. No sign of an "excellent " pistol as yet.

My latest excellent sword that I've located is the Conquistador and I found it on FdF behind Elzire Ayarai's house.

I like the 4 barrol Gun.

The Guns are the 1st you get.

2nd is a longer barol for distance.

3rd is a beter looking long barol and I think its faster reload.

4th is the Dubbled barol same look as 3rd just a overand under.

5th is a big Canon lookin gun Realy Powerful slow reload.

6th is the 4 barrol Great gun slow reload but you get to fier it 4 times not all at once you have to hit fier button agin and agin.

As far as I knoe thes are the only guns available and Cirtin thers no others. Sowrds are in more viriaty.

With the mod where you do not reload until you sheathe your sword, I've found the two barrel to work just fine for me - I never have enough time to get off more than two shots before the enemy attacks and I have to defend or block...
