So, Can I just install the supermod over the original game and then the five updates, or do I need to uninstall, then reinstall, the add the supermod and the updates?

YES. if ya already have installed the AOP on ya PC(w/ any patch), install the supermode then those 5 updates.
but ya'll have to start a new game
1.5 patch it's included in Cyberops'Supermode

What you're saying, then, is that this is wrong - if you've installed a patch then you must uninstall, reinstall from scratch, then add the Supermod and its updates.
I will try this and see if the bugs I reported are still present.
