Have you tried her? Is she ok? I saw that ship one time only and have not seen her since and since I just made level 7 methinks it will be a long time before I see her again.

No I haven't tried her yet, to be honest I haven't played the game in a while (since starting this pond for my mom and tomorrow I will be busy setting up the home made filter box as the new pump arrives for it). I'm determined to play the game sometime tomorrow though as I need my fix and really want to test the changes out.

So far there are some shubunkins, black goldfish, 2 cat fish, 2 long nosed sturgeon, 2 ghost koi and 4 common koi, but my mom's just purchased 2 butterfly koi which should be here tomorrow. My dad wants to extend the pond now and have a bridge going over it, if its done then it will be 30ft long by 12ft wide and the new part would be 1ft deeper than the current pond which is 3ft. The pump is all set up, we just got to fix a small leak and all is done, at least till on till we no if the pond extention is for real or just him joking.

I'm done with the Gaff Schooner for now. There is more to be done but I'm not sure how to do it. One sail does not work the same as the others and I have no ideer why. She is in my GOF2 ships thread.

I presume you want to take screenies and also do not want to spend any money.

I use Fraps to take screenies. For years I used the free version which takes screenies in bmp format, and then used an old version of Paint Shop Pro to convert them to jpeg as jpeg is much much smaller and is the preferred format for screenies. Last year I bought the full version of Fraps and now take screenies in jpeg format. Gimp is free and can be used to convert bmp to jpeg. Format Factory can also be used for pics and movies.

Or when playing the game you can press F8 and it will take a screenie in png format and place it in your GOF2 folder.

Some WIP pics of 2 ships I'm working on. The Shnyava and the light galleon. The gaff is working properly on the Shnyava but I want to look into other things, and the lateen is working properly on the light galleon but the sail is not cooperating.

My Constitution known as HMS Delaware with Uniton Jack near between Guadeloupe ( Basse-Terre ) and Martinque ( Fort-de-France ). I was sailing from Basse-Terre to Fort-de-France. After that I was attacked by one pirate ship ( started to slip away but I aboarded it ) and 2 spanish ship but both sliped away because I was too good and I was near fort.

398 people on board although it's not full. My crew is really loyal, have good morale ( so their relations are Heroic>Excellent>High for a long time and I don't have to pay a lot ) and they're experienced.
They're veterans in sailing, almost veterans in cannons and they're in the middle in grappling indicator, so many ships give up without fight.
It's so difficult to find some well experienced sailors with Heroic loyality in taverns so I decided not to fill the whole space for crew.

In Bermuda's shipyard I just improved the speed ( to 10 knots when my ship is full-loaded ) and I don't think there is any need to imporve something else due to the fact this ship would be too good. His statistics were really good during buying it.

The most recent GOF2 is in the 1st post of that thread. Also a Supermod has just been released. It started out as an AOP mod, then was merged with GOF2. If nothing else it has 4 music packs.

Those pirates are at Jamaica.

The Connie is a powerful ship that I normally try to avoid.

I gotta tell this story now while it's fresh in my alleged memory.

I was sailing along the North coast of Cuba on a treasure quest, see. I landed at the right spot and found the treasure. There were a few gems and such, but there were also 96 mandolins and 88 leaky buckets.
I had 3 ships loaded up with iron ore I was taking to Havana on me own initiative. I was sailing the Revenge English galleon plus a big fluyt and the Black Pearl.

So we made it to Havana with a pirate fleet chasing us. I guess they wanted their mandolins back. So I turned to see what they had and realized we were gonna get run down, so told my Captains to run away while I parked next to the fort. Well things went all to hell pretty fast when both of my ships suddenly turned and charged the Pirates! There was nothing I could do about the BP as she charged right into them, but one of the pirates, the Surprise frigate, charged my fluyt. So off I went to try to keep her from getting boarded, and I did succeed in that and captured that frigate.

But while that was happening that blithering idiot in the BP boarded and captured the other frigate, the Nightmare. But in doing that he sank the Black Pearl cargo and all! So here he comes sailing back to me all happy like he done good. I would much rather have the Black Pearl than some frigate.

Now I could see the third Pirate ship, and it was La Licorne! Long story short, with all of us hammering away at her we were able to whittle the crew down so I could move in and board and capture her.

I don't know what to do to stop that idiot Captain from doing this again tho.

Ah well, those frigates should bring a decent price, and I always thought that Unicorn figurehead was pretty cool!!
