Make sure you're using the login information from the opening post. It's been recently changed.

:c It only took me 5 hours to figure this ftp doodad out. :c Does this site have an administrator? Are there any working links on this site? Could someone mention in the first post of this thread that one needs FTP Commander in order to access any ftp sites? And also provide a WORKING link? :c
I learned the physical location of that site long before I learned how to access it.

Now that really isnt that necessary, this is a hobby and you havnt mentioned anything about links (WE DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT EVERYTHING WE NEED TO BE TOLD!). Also with this being a hobby there is always an admin online, 5 hours? I sleep for more than 5 hours (what do you think I was doing for the last 5 hours?)
You actually DONT need FTP Commander to access the ftp site

ops2 It was an accumulation of things that set me off. Get all the sleep you need, uni is hard.
It took me so long because I didn't want to ask for help. I wanted to figure it out on my own. Once I got all of the information together it was easy. But consider. It appears there were changes made that caused broken links. They should have been fixed then, but were not. This is a three page thread mostly filled with people having problems. The info in post #1 is incomplete. So is the info in post #56. But put together they work. Then there is a post on page 2 that casually mentions that you need FTP Commander, with a broken link. Before I noticed that I was trying to use my browser. And so it went.
I understand that you can't fix things if no one reports them as broken. I shall endeavor to POLITELY do so in the future. I have already reported that the info in the FAQ about error reporting is wrong. There are more broken links sprinkled around the threads. I have become familiar with Thagarr's column, as well as a Star Trek site because that is where they send me.

You dont have to tell me about uni and lack of sleep matey, I have both going on for me as well. Ill update the first post myself using that infomation -
