I have another prob with the sails: I have made 2, 1 works perfect but the other is weird. When i come on sea i see the sails but all the sails are as I made them except 2 of them, those 2 are from the nation you are at atm. This is because of a mod that sets the nation's sail emblems on the sails. This shouldn't really be a problem if the ship is used by an American ingame nation, because then she will have the American emblems on the sails. You can also choose your preferred sails through F2>Ship>Sails>Choose sails. There you can choose the sails you like. The change doesn't take effect immediately, but the sails will be changed next time you get to 3D sailing mode.
If you want these sails to always be white, I think you should be able to add the following line to the ships_init.c entry:
refShip.EmblemedSails.normalTex = "ships\sail_whole_white_plain.tga";
You should also be able to use any other sail texture from RESOURCE\Textures\Ships.

I'm wondering, are the last "characters_init" files of P&E compatible with the 5th of august Build update? i got back the stock soldiers with this update and i'm missing the wonderful jmv's skins

If you want to be sure to make it compatible, use WinMerge to compare the P&E file with the Pre Build 13 file.
To Black Bart Roberts: This mod is not going to be added to Build 13 by default. Instead, it will be an additional add-on that people can install when they want to have a Napoleonic flavour in their game.
To Commodore John Paul Jones: Is the P&E mod going to overwrite any content currently in the stock game, Build 12.1 or the Pre Build 13 pack, such as ships and/or character skins? I don't like mods overwriting content, so if there is anything that overwrites anything, could you make these parts of the mod seperate instead, so that it will be added in addition to the current content instead of overwriting the current content?
