Is this game using .gm format?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I looked in the respective folders and found some strange stuff. The game is made by Global Star and Akella, so the folders are set up in a similar way to PotC. Looked in the resource folder and went through the Models, Textures, and txt_res folders. Only file types I found were .tf, .shp, and the Model folder seems to be empty, can't see anything and there isn't a "Show Folder Contents" option... I'm guessing they used personal file types because anything in .shp format had a name like "64_gShip.shp" and "40_gFrigate.shp"
Even if we could open them, convert them, and put them ingame, wouldn't work out. The ships in PB:AoS II are small, typical of an RTS game.
Cool links to the <i>Bonhomme Richard</i> and <i>Constitution</i>! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Looks very much like the Heavy Warship 2... must keep that and make it a unique along with the <i>Dutchman</i>, <i>Pearl</i>, and "Old ironsides". <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

We need to contact our Russian counterparts and learn from them, eh? we could advance our modding and perhaps inspire them when they see what we've got going on over here.
When it comes to the old "Who gonna do it?" I'd like to, really, but IB schoolwork, track, cross country, ROTC, and real life stand in the way and I haven't the slightest skill in the 3D modeling field, let alone the programs necessary. I can offer input, critrique, historical expertise, and artwork though, so if you have a question about the American Revolution, need a ship draft, an idea for a quest, thoughts on a model, anything like that... fire away and I will answer! Hopefully the real life workload will lessen over the summer and next year, I'll be taking only 2 IB classes next year rather than the 5 I'm in right now. (I HATE IB chemistry, geometry, and German... why I signed up for them I haven't the slightest idea...)
The flags look cool, can't wait to see more and keep up the excellent work!
