With this mod by a simple virtual sailor and Screwface, we will really be able to use proper island maps.
They'd need to show at least all shores and towns on the islands, otherwise you'll have a REALLY hard time finding them. :shock

In 3D sailing mode, when your ship catches on fire, there's an on-screen icon indicating this.
However, the icon is not very appropriate. Could somebody make a new one?

Speaking of the new interface, I noticed that when you are in the New Game menu and you click to change your name, or the name of the ship, or the profile name, the music stops and starts again. Not terribly important, but some fine tuning.

I haven't tested if the same is true for the original interface...


Yup. It is the same for both interfaces. And there are some other instances as well. Such as after changing options and such.
 
Yep; I noticed that too. I've even got a game version where it DOESN'T do that, but that has other problems.
I haven't got a clue how to get that solved.

Thanks for bumping this thread though. Any chance someone can make a "ship on fire" icon as per my previous post above?

No, you now made the ship somewhat yellow, but you need to "gray out" the blue background and turn it into brown/grey. See Pieter's post above.
 
Will flashed version will be used at all?

I don't have time for working on it now. Going to sleep... Mightbe you want to try, posting PSD just in case...
