You mean the modelfixes I requested? It would be great if you could do those. Having tried to play around with the ribbon on that model's bun myself, all I can say is <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />

Maybe this is a strange idea, but say you capture a merchant ship and, along with the captain, you also capture a few passengers; a charming young lady like this one and maybe one of the governor models, that you could ransom the same way as the captains. Reputation would suffer for doing this, but say you had the option to release a prisoner without a ransom? Food for thought...

Yes, at first I was really frustrated <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> with how she is mapped, but just kept playing around with her bun <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> as well.

I thought a little more about it and it occured to me that pirate ships could have captives on them as well, and if you took a pirate ship you would have the option of picking up the ransom (bad rep hit and $) or freeing them (good rep hit and no $). (Except, perhaps, Fat Jack... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> )

Sir Chris: Someone, somewhere, was saying it'd be a good idea to fight the captain at the end of boarding (or have him say he surrenders if that). We could teleport the player to a cloned tut_deck and have the captain speak, and those either passengers or prisoners could also be there.

I like that idea, time and RL permitting I may have to try this, it's so "Captain Blood" -like, and also if it were a random occurence, it would add a lot to the game, without being an entire quest.

I was looking at the StoneD's Surrender Mod code last night when your comment about the "release option" reminded me that I have the original Build 12 Release on my game without any updates. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> Might have to upgrade a bit to make this more compatible. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/oops3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:ops2" border="0" alt="oops3.gif" />
