need alitle help (Oxbay exit)

Well, you're DONE with the quest, Mad Jack! Go to Redmond and hit Silehard up for your reward!

Also something to note - you can scroll down in the quest book and read old entries that have "closed" or disappeared from the top of the list. They will regenerate at the BOTTOM of the list and you can read them over. Sometimes that last quest entry goes to the bottom of the list before you can read it and you have to find it to see what you should do next... :cheers :D
 
you know wahts ol CaptJack hates? when you kill de french captain, and his STUPID letter stays in ur inventory and you cant remove it. and even when you get back to governor, its still there, EVEN after the main quest! same with the animist medallion, but, alas, i dont care about that as much as the papers that you cant remove. any way to remove them? in the coding of the game file? im tired of it! i cant kill him on knowing that i would have to carry dem stupid papers around! i always let him go, never bein able to show me true potential! :cheers
 
Right, I can agree with ya on that one! Kinda annoying. Hopefully someone will have corrected that code in the new build. So far I haven't noticed it in testing, but that might be because I haven't restarted since I got that letter, LOL!

You were right, as usual, dear Cat! And I have to admit, the quest to retrieve Tobias from Oxbay was fun! I made a wrong turn and found meself in `hand-to`-hand combat with 10 guards! Took me a bit of rum to make it through that dust up... And running for me bloody life after taunting the guards at the port gates, and the subsequent exchange of cannon fire with the fort as we sailed to safety - what a bloody rush!!! :shock:

"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me..." :cheeky
 
Yeah, that's a fun moment. Don't you just feel puffed up when you knock off all those French soldiers, tho?

I like at part of de quest, I jumped into de water an had a water fight wid dem Frenchces Har! :p:
 
Splish! Splash! take'n a bath an cutt'n down some Frenchies tew boot, Har! all in a day's werk der a pirate :p:

Me encountered this problem as well! What ye have to do is this:

run with the frenchies, when they dissapear to their ship you walk away from the dock just far enough for the locked logo to dissapear, after that go to the end of the ramp again and then you should be able to go!

If ye want some extra XP and GP, ye could also kill the storming french comin'after ye! Their easy!
