You know I have a dream <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> , I would like to have a citadel at the top of a cliff to make an additional infiltration mission for Bartolomeu. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" />

So, I upload it in a few moment, time to see witch textures are needed. For Caribbean map I always get Thomas' one, but there's a lot of work and often when I go to worldmap from sea my ship is far from island. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> Well, it would be soon playable, but not very good.

I think he found it in a russian mod.

No Pieter, I don't import all the game <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> but the best way to see locations is to install these.

I think you forgot to set: sea = true;
in the locations file. But this really does look good. Did you come any further with the new world map?

Yes, put it on Eleuthera island as an hidden Spanish settlement. Maybe, the island could be Spanish in the first two periods (early explorers and Spanish Main Period) then British and finally American for the last two periods.

In my case, it's fine if you agree the island Spanish for the first two periods.
 
Should we do this period-dependent or quest-dependent? For example, Redmond is Spanish in the Devlin quests, but that is because of the PROGRAM\Storyline\DevlinOpera\Towns\InitTowns.c file.

Personally I would prefer having things such as nation relations and nations of towns be period-dependent rather than storyline-dependent.
Of course it would then be possible to override the default period-dependent values for certain storylines if necessary.

But to do the above, we'd need a list of the various nation relations in the various periods and which towns are governed by which nations.

I don't have any preference <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> For now, choose the easiest way.

the period-dependent will be necessary if in the future we let the player choosing his starting date if he doesn't want to play a main quest.
