Making a New Quest

Making a new quest is a very time consuming project. Be prepared to spend a year creating it. When you start on it others will help you with the code.
 
You need to start with something VERY simple. For example, add a new character and create a dialog for that character.
It is indeed quite a bit of work even after you've figured out how to do it. But if you want to, we'll try to help and point you in the right direction. :yes
 
I only mean maybe it's best to see that the TOOL is working ok for you before we start a lot of other things.
You'll need the TOOL for many purposes when making a quest.

So my plan was
1 TOOL: head switching
2 TX converter, add things to a model
3 retexturing, gm-viewer, hex-editor
because we started talking about changing character models. Ok?
 
If you check these 2 you have chosen in characters (not mixed) and open scene/edit scene you can see that they are already split into 2 parts.
Standard POTC are 1 part (before you cut their heads off).
 
Step 1 for making a quest (or anything else): Think of what you want to accomplish, make sure it is something SIMPLE and do only one thing at a time.
So if you're working on character models for now with Jack Rackham, I'd recommend you stick with that for now. :doff
 
Why not doing multiple things at the same time? Very simple: If you take off more than you can chew, you might choke and not end up finishing anything.
Best to do one thing first, then move onto the next until you are comfortable with how it works. :doff

Please read the answers to your questions before asking new questions that have already been answered. Are you serious, or are you just trolling?
 
Then I'd suggest thinking for yourself a little bit more. Thagarr has banned people for less.

I won't ban him, but Thagarr probably would have a few days ago if he were still here.
Something very similar happened before Thagarr left, and guess what happened to that guy?
