You are right, AOP was the most bugged game i have started to play in the last 10 years, but i wasnt left alone, there were patches, and a creative community with good,really good connections and mods.That is worth a lot to me.

I am a genré fan, since i have played Pirates on Amiga, i remember. After Sid Meyer´s Pirates, there was a interuption, Port royale II. and AOP have wake up my interest again. The graphic is really nice.

A game like AOP, full of bug´s and unballanced, always on the border to crash, ?...No, i think, that five years ago they havnt the shadow of a chance, to survive.
Today, with communitys like Pirates Ahoy, or for example, X-Universe for X3, it´s normal, that ya have to download all you need to play the buyed game, like it was planed and presented. That becomes more worst for players in the next years, i fear.
